This artist rendering released by Dynamic Architecture shows a rotating skyscraper that is to be built in Dubai, in various stages of movement. An Italian architect said he is poised to start construction on the new skyscraper that will be 'the world's first building in motion,' an 80-story tower with revolving floors that give it an ever-shifting shape. (AP Photo/Dynamic Architecture) I doubt they'll pull it off.

Holy shit, man. I can see pulling the cantilevers off and even the rotation but I've got to imagine that central core is about 50' across.

It's funny, but the dog is still better. With out that, it'd just be two women in bathing suits and a silly caption.

Hahahaha! I'm really good at this!

I saw the Dubai tower earlier, seems they have some turbine system built into each floor which powers the rotation, or the units I wasn't clear on that point. Apparently the idea is that the residents change the view as they fancy. It seems like an awesome idea, and I hope they do pull it off. vacillates
I like this word, I think I'll endeavour to use it more often in conversation.

Someone free that elephant, please.
I can't even imagine how many times it was beaten in the process of "learning" to paint that.

F is inviting you to start Quarto. Do you want to Accept (Alt+C) or Decline (Alt+D) the invitation? You have accepted the invitation to start Quarto. F says: don't know what this is Az says: I think it's like Az says: where we pour milk on the stomach alien from total recall

The elephants live in a conservation centre and are mostly former domestic animals that have either been rescued from abusive owners or adopted for other reasons. The program is humane and monitored by veterinarians.

I doubt there was any beating involved. I was an elphant trainer for awhile, and one of our elephants loved to paint. She was more into abstract paintings though. We gave all the elephants a chance to paint, but she was the only one that really enjoyed it.

How do you get a job like that? Details please. Strangely enough, just apply. Most people don't bother to because they don't have experience, but Marine World used to have open positions for apprentice dolphin, tiger, whale, and elephant trainers pretty much all the time, and they would hire anyone smart enough to learn. Honestly, I got lucky. At Marine World Africa USA you just sent in a resume to the HR department for a summer job, and they would give it to the departments they thought would be interested. I was fully expecting to be serving fries. However, I was an FFA member with some cattle experience, so they passed me off to the elephant staff instead. We had 6 Asians and 5 Africans. If it wasn't for the unlivable wage, I might have stuck with it as a career; I really loved spending my day climbing on top of 4 ton squishy behemoths.

That is pretty much exactly what I was thinking, that picture is the opposite of awesome. Yeah because history has taught us that only humans can possibly express ourselves visually without violent collusion. What?
