I thought at first that the pool of murk was actually just a drop off, i.e. looking into much deeper water, but looking at it more closely it does appear to be cloudy, like disturbed sediment or something.

The year after I bought the FJ I took time off work so I could drive home and park in my garage for a hail storm (our parking lot is open). Last year we had a couple tornadoes roll through and I just made it into the lee of a building and avoided the biggest stuff. Cringed the whole time the small/medium (1" or so) stuff pounded the FJ. I fuckin' hate hail, totally beat up my old pickup. But, awesome vehicle and I agree on the vanity plates. |
