Yea, a little later than planned. But that's the set date. If people want to have an impromptu one in March, we can. But the official one is in May. Should be between 80 and 105. Which anyone can tell you is fucking gorgeous here. Anyway, just putting it out there for those interested.

Gulp and Squirrel will be attending.

That sentence is to hold them to it.

Actually Schild I won't be around that area then, but I'm interested in going to Arizona at some point. I'd actually be interested in next year's FBR Open Golf Tournament. Do you have any info surrounding that? Ever been? I hear it's a kickass time for all.

I haven't been. But I'd be up for attending with you and maybe driving some balls. In a completely hetero way, not that there's anything wrong with the alternative.

Of course, this year it would've been unbearable. Wasn't it a month ago? Cold as all get out.

I should be able to do this.

Should be the last week or week before that at ASU.

You want hot chicks? Pretty sure we have SoCal beat.

I'm pretty sure that's not even remotely close to being true unless you were making a joke about the heat in Arizona.

Go spend a week in Tempe and get back to us. It is a hell of a lot closer than you think. There are 20-something hotties EVERYWHERE.

Yeah, it's in late January. It can get insane as I think attendence topped out around 180,000 people in one day. The only way to do it would be to go insanely high hog and do the $1800 package for 4 people for 4 days. That's access to all the members club stuff, free alcohol, and your own seats in the pavilions where you don't have to claw through all the drunken scrubs trying to catch a glimpse of the action.

So yeah, it's a little highbrow, but basically you pick a pavilion, get there as soon as they open, and enjoy four days of being drunk off your ass while watching some kickass golf players rotate through.

Too expensive. Way too expensive. $1800 could buy me all the finest liquor I want.

And a new HDTV to watch it on.

Yeah, for you. See this is about travel for me. I go big or don't go. I don't plan on going to Phoenix twice after all.

I'll be there most definitely. This time it's probable that I'll be bringing a companion of the fairer gender, as opposed to finding solace there. As I'm no longer single it seems the wise thing to do.

Apologies in advance for my lack of sobriety  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

EDIT: Oh and agreed - not sure AZ beats SoCal out of hand, but the scenery in Phoenix is damn fine. And friendly!

I'm considering it. I've got vacation time building up and airmiles I have no use for. Somebody locate me a decent cheap hotel. Prefferably Marriot so I can get more of those points too.

Noone is more bummed than I. That town is a treasury of Mrs. Robinson's.

EDIT: Although at my age, they're mostly my peers. I think the harley lady from last trip was 46...9 years seniority.
