If Blizzard really wants to mess with GW, all they have to do is price their miniatures about 10% below the WARHAMS going rate.

Next up - Starcraft tabletop with space marines vs tyranid zerg.  awesome, for real

Reading the FAQ, it sounds more like Heroclix than Warhammer.

Prepainted minis, 1-5 characters per side etc.

Interestingly though the figures are designed and 'paint detailed' by Mike McVey. Those of you as beardy as I am will remember him as GW's painting wunderkind who went on to be a sculptor before leaving GW at around the same time that I did.

I must report that the Grammar Snake has just resigned in disgust.  We are actively seeking a replacement snake.

As long as all the figurines can fit in one square (hex?), like they do in-game when people raid some of the boss encounters.

If it's small-scale (meaning individual rather than squad activation, a la Mordheim) and the minis cost less than a testicle and a half each (a la GW) I will setup a separate checking account to pay for an army right now.

THIS IS THE MOST I HAVE EVERY WANTED TO GET IN TO A BETA

Even to this day I am compelled to stop in front of GW stores and oogle the miniatures on display, before remembering that I also need money to eat, and that my attempts to paint the minatures were  ACK!
