[edit] Speaking of L.A., I got a pretty cool offer up there, but that place is a bit expensive. If I lived on my own, it would most certainly be in the ghetto. I'm thinking I'm more of an East LA type than Compton though.

Bellflower is actually not too bad, or at least it wasn't before the riots. Lots of hispanic family areas, bordered by rougher areas. We lived close to one of those border areas, right off Alondra Blvd, it was a nice block but very rough a block away over Alondra. I mean, there were shootings and burning cars and stuff, but that's LA for you.
