Why don't we get a new thread where someone actually updates the main roster.  I will be joining today, pending my son feeding.   Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I'll create a roster thread later on tonight. First, I have to finish my homework.   Hulk Rock

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

Yes we are.  I am at the place in levelling (32-33) where I have to leave the main Horde areas and join Tarren Mill and Alterac for questing.  Which basically means I get ganked by roaming bands of 70s and by the occasional 35+ character.  I got one-shot by a fucking 35 cat druid the other night that I never saw coming (naturally).  Talk about annoying.  Once I get back from vacation I am going to try and sneak past those areas in the off-time when most people are sleeping just to get out of Hillsbrad (a mid 20's Horde zone combined with a mid 30's Alliance zone, what were they thinking besides "fun times at Murder Cave?").

Part of the reason I rolled a druid for an alt, a change of pace where I have the chance to actually not get azzr@pz0rz3d by someone my level (sure, it's a 0.0001% chance, but it beats 0% ;-) ).  Definitely more exciting than a PvE server though.

When are you low level druid guys going to hit the Ghostlands ? I parked my druid there (at Lvl 12 I think), because I found soloing with a low level druid too painfull when I could play my hunter and take on 4-5 green/yellow con mobs at once.

Oh, while I am at it. Is there a way for hunters to become more mana efficient ? I know there is one talen in the MM tree. Anything else I am missing ?

Oh, and are there cooking recipes that give mana regen ? I am spending a fortune on sweet nectar atm.  ACK!

The two sagefish recipies for old world mana regen food, no idea about TBC but there's probably something.

As for the comments about Tarren Mill...it can be skipped by going S Barrens/Stonetalon/Ashenvale/1K Needles. It should be skipped, even on PvE servers, if for no other reason than the quest design there is godawful. Horrible droprate collection quests combined with "Run the entire width of the zone to & fro multiple times" kill quests.  ACK!

I'm headed to Ghostlands tonight now that I've got bearform and no need to go back to Mulgore.

As for Hunters.. nope not really.  I don't even know how to play a low-level hunter now that Aimed Shot was rekajiggered to reset the Autoshot timer.  When I was leveling it was all about Aimed Shot - serpent sting, autoshoot until dead, channel pet healing spell if required.  It was more mana efficient than actually using shots, AND I didn't pull aggro off my pet at the "I need to get a growl upgrade" levels.

Interestingly, there is a druid trainer in Silvermoon, even though that's about the farthest thing from blood elves' minds lore-wise.

There is no warrior trainer though, I can tell you that from experience.

Witty banter not included.

There used to be high elf druids...plus the Farstriders aren't exactly seeing eye-to-eye with the Blood Knights on means & ends. It's fairly possible that whoever the Ranger-General of Silvermoon is at the moment asked the tauren members of the Cenarion Circle to send a representative.

I played for a little over an hour last night and the best I could accomplish in that time was to kill 3 non-quest mobs on the way to a quest objective that I never reached.  I also got to run from the graveyard to my corpse about 18 or 20 times.  Not once was I attacked by someone that didn't con as a skull to me.  I'm sorry, but having peen-challenged teens dictate what I get to do during my playtime just isn't my idea of fun.

I'll be in NC from Thursday - Sat.  Maybe I'll feel like playing again when I get back.

PVP servers are fun when you have a group to run with, a couple level 70s parked nearby to get revenge with, and enough cash to twink out your low level guys. My rogue has easily taken out Alliance that are 10-15 levels higher and get the jump on me since he's got pretty good gear and weapons. Guess it's one reason to twink other than to wtfpwn for e-peen++ in the Battlegrounds (which I don't do since I usually just run into other twinks that are running pre-mades).

I'm pretty lucky on my server though, since the friends that convinced me to play there all have multiple level 70s and have geared me out pretty nicely for my level. Being escorted around Hillsbrad makes that zone much more tolerable.

Starting from scratch on an established PVP server? You gotta know you're gonna have some BAD days. You can tell when school gets out, that's when all of a sudden there's multiple 70s camping the Hunter camp in STV.

I'm an early riser on the weekend and my wife isn't, so a lot of my leveling time was spent early on Sat/Sun mornings when I could have almost complete zones to  myself (sometimes low pop. servers can be handy, especially low pop. PVP servers)

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

Early mornings are usually good times.

Nebu, now's a good time for you to start an alt.  When a few more of us get up there to your level, Outlands will be much nicer.

(Maybe don't wait for me though! I'm a slacker!)
