I'm thinking of starting a new 'toon somewhere, most likely a PvP server, and PROBABLY an RPPvP server as they seemed to have a more mature playerbase than others.

Ideally, I'd just like to hook up with about 8-10 other people, start up a little informal guild and level up and run 5 man raids.  No catassing, just very casual.  Playtimes between 9-11 pm CST.

Any interest in that sort of thing?  If so, post below.  So far, 8 people are game.  Need two more for guild creation.

I may be interested.  My only concern is moving to an established pvp server and having to immediately deal with the arms race due to flocks of twinks with crazy gear running around.  I'm thinking I'd play either a rogue or a shaman.

TBH, I'm not really concerned with other players.  Don't care if its horde or alliance.  A small little guild/group that exists in its own vacuum of entertainment.  Just figured the PvP part would add an interesting dimension to it, but can do without it.  (edit) Figured the RPPVP servers might contain a little less kiddies and l33t3rs.

In my experience "RP" servers act as little more than a name filter.  I actually like allowing stupid names as it immediately identifies idiots I want to avoid. 

Let me know what you need.  I'll happily level anything that would help a 5 man.  Soloing my level 70 rogue is getting old and I'd love to find a group to play the other 80% of the game with.

I figure we can work classes out once people show some interest.  I don't care what I play, as I don't have much experience in the game. 

Just to add a little bit:

Don't care if we're horde or alliance.
Don't care if we PvP or not.
Don't care if it's a new server or old.
No guild leader.  The guild chat box is just a way for us to communicate without having to worry about the outside world.  Would probably prefer use of TS or Vent and be done with it.
No catassing.
Log in.  Play.  Log out.  Casual, muh bruthahs and sistahs.
If you need it, you can have it/we can get it mindset.

The goal is casual fun with a small group of solid people.

I'm horde,and casual. We don't invite randoms. (Oh, and backed by 4 level 70's in another guild {who will be paying for the guild bank, cause its dam handy}, this low level guild is for alts (of the 70's), and nubs like me, most of us play together and are RL friends).

Most of the serious twinks sit in battlegrounds all the time anyway because there's the very real possibility of them actually losing a fight in the wider world.

I might roll a newbie character to play with you guys for a while until it ends the way 95% of f13 guilds end. But then again, I might not. Let me know server and side.

RE: RP servers. I was playing on one of the RPPVP servers for a while, and I have to admit that I liked it much better than a normal PVP server. It was fun to walk around and see people RPing in town, also the people in general seemed much nicer. I have never had so many people just walk up to me and give me free gear, it was quite refreshing. I have a level 22 or so Night Elf druid on one of the RPPVP servers. Twisting Nether. If you guys play there I would pop in now and then to do some leveling. Druid is one of the classes I never got very high. I also wanted to do a BE Shadow Priest.

I'd be up for this. I think. The greatest resistance I have towards new servers is getting the stake needed for an epic mount. I would probably roll a cow druid by choice.

I just started up again to try some alts but I'm on the initial F13 server, Earthen Ring.  I've never really tried another.

Well, i understand, but the full story is a bunch of our friends just started playing (like 5 or so), so the ones with the 70's (like 4 or so) rolled alts to play with us..and then we made a guild. mostly they are in the same boat as Nebu, they are 70, and there is really nothing left for them to do. So, they mostly play with us. The only time they really log onto the mains is to do there battle ground weeklys (?). Shrug. I specifically told them i do not want any kind of tweaking (for my player), IMO it negates content.

Its up to you guys, but the offer is still open.

Also of note is the heavy, almost unbelievable dominance of the Blood Elf population. Because of Ravenholdt's launch window, many of the people who first rolled on the server prior to the launch of The Burning Crusade were already planning Blood Elf mains. A significant number of these people rolled temporary mains on the Horde, with the dual goal of meeting new friends, and farming enough gold and equipment to twink out their planned Blood Elf main when BC debuted. This has led to what many might deem an overpopulation of Horde Paladins and Warlocks, classes that, on many servers are in short supply, but on RH there are plenty of. There is, also, a natural shortage of warriors, a class that, again, most servers have too many of.

And finally, RH is one of only a handful of servers that has a population bubble that favors the Horde rather than the Alliance. The ratio is not extreme, but it is noticeable.

I guess it doesnt really matter, as people will stop playing before running in to the tank problem. But even established servers with tons of warriors have tanking shortages, so a server with a warrior shortage could be pretty horrible to find tanks at 70.

Then again, once we're in game and have a guild, I'll probably turn general chat off and just watch guild/group.  So, in effect, it doesn't matter to me where we go.  The only people I will be paying attention to is guildies and what we're doing, everything else will pretty much be white noise.  I can tune that out without a hitch.

Despite my misgivings about joining somebody else's guild of alts, I'm inclined to say VC. I also looked at the non-RP PvP servers from the last year, and they have the same problem as Ravenholdt - Horde heavy imbalance made up of Blood Elves, most of whom are paladins and warlocks.
