WARNING:  I've only ever got to level 18 on any character in WoW.  I almost certainly suck.

Not at all, that's just where things slow down and start to get repetitive. Or you and I just get bored easily... I can't remember which it was.

I think the highest I've ever gotten was about 20 or 25.  You won't be alone.

And BTW, the VOIP is stellar and teh suck at the same time.
Stellar because it automatically lowers the game volume when someone speaks.
Teh suck because the voice is too low.  I had my mic turned all the way up in my systray, with micboost, and had it at 250 percent volume in game and Nebu could barely hear me.  And I'm not one you would call quiet.

Wow, What a patch experience. Any way Halaburtan is born a level 1 warlock. I may play a bit but I am pretty much done for this evening.

I started with nothing, and I still have most of it

I'm not a complete idiot... Some parts are still on backorder.

Good fun tonight.

Let's hook up some folks tonight and get the lower level people leveled up to the rest of us.

Nebu and Righ are leveling freaks.

And I am, without a doubt, the WORST warlock.

Ever.

That is all.

Guild setup on RPG Outfitter: http://www.rpgoutfitter.com/WoW-GM/guild.cfm?guild=Burning%20Region@US-The%20Venture%20Co

You can get the addon to collect char info for uploading. Tracks profession levels and quests outstanding.

Vaguely tangential anecdote: My reroll-character is on a similar post-TBC RP-PvP server (Eu-Sporrregggaragagar or however it's spelt) and we had a few...issues with race/class selection - in the recruitment thread, people kept asking what classes the guild was short of and the replies were along the lines of "We need Warriors/Priests/Rogues/Hunters/Mages".

Yes, really. Warriors - ok, fair enough, they're thin on the ground on a lot of servers. Priests are moderately rare as well. But low numbers of rogues and hunters? On a PvP server? When was the last time that happened on the older servers?

We have loads of paladins, druids, shaman & warlocks though.  awesome, for real

Oh yeah, and there's a strong Horde bias on my server (not sure on the exact numbers but at least 1.5:1 and probably larger)...and the racial split goes something like 55% BE/30% undead/10% tauren/5% orcs and trolls. Blizzard's plan to even out the sides by giving the Horde a bishounen/bishoujo* race seems to have worked a little too well.

(*Anime terms used because, well...look at the BE haircuts.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?)

About what level is the first group type dungeon?  Is there any sort of site that has a list of all the instances / level / group / prerequisite requirements?

Wow Wiki to the rescue:

Graphical - http://www.wowwiki.com/Instances_by_level

Tabular - http://www.wowwiki.com/Instance

RFC is typically first, followed by WC and SFK with an optional foray into the Deadmines (for extra special PvP fun.)

I fixed this by going into the ingame sound menu and cranking the voice sound while lowering the game sound, then turning my speakers up. Seemed to help.

Laleche, Druid.

It's so weird not having any gold.  I'm rich rich rich on my other server, but also getting bored bored bored.

Would be cool if Blizzard allowed inter-server transfers of gold (with some limit of course - even 20g would be nice).

On the other hand, it's definitely different.

See above.

I'm REALLY missing my rogue, but hope that the shaman will get better in a few levels.  I need to get ahead of the curve since I'll be gone most of next week.

Whoops!

Shaman gets better, especially with ghost wolf at 20.  I have a 29 enhancement shaman that only plays BGs - running the flag in WSG is so fun.  I caved and twinked her, so I'm keeping her at 29 for a while.  Seemed like 75% of the people in the 29 bg were twinked, as compared to 99% in the 19 bg.

(Btw, there's a very awesome 2handed axe that drops off the first boss in Razorfen Kraul called Corpsemaker, level 29.  It's got about a 20% drop rate.)

I'll hop on.  Just resubbed 3 days ago and started a BE hunter.  Will redo on VC.  Name is Atul.

Morfiend level 7 BE Priest.

Office Xmas party tonight so I probably wont be on till late if I am on. But hopefully some of us slower levelers can group up this weekend. Priest is not a fun solo class at low levels.

Just rolled a n00b troll warrior named Radli, if you guys are still looking for recruits (though I likely suck at world PvP).

Yeah, I'm the only one.   I ALMOST rolled a hunter, but decided I should try something different.  Now I'm glad I did, since CC is so necessary in both PvP and PvE.  I needs squishy help!

I didn't die but I played for hours and hours and got level 4. FOUR!  And who knew those glowy things were my lootz?

What's with all the beds in Blood Elf town?  Are there alternate ways to level?

I absolutely suck at WoW PvP, Kail, but I don't think it matters.  This is just an f13 something to do together thingy.  If they were worried about being good, they wouldn't have let me in!

I was looking around and found out that Jame's horde guide had been updated for 2.3, nice.  There is also a guide to the ghostlands, I think I'll take all my alts through there instead of oldworld stuff.

So it was pretty dead last night.. just us 4 catasses who are 12+ and poor dead Snake Charmer. (Really, it's just the Murlocs.)  Everyone burnt already, or holidays?

There was talk of a RFC or WC run 'soon.'   I won't be around tonight, since I'll be playing with the wife on my regular server, but I'm up for it w/e else.
