I'll roll a toon on Venture Co this afternoon (I don't feel like being at work anyway).  I have no idea what class to make.  I guess I can see what others roll and just go from there.  If noone has a vent server, I suppose I could get one running but only if it's an absolute need.

I created an Undead Rogue on VC.

The built-in voip works pretty well from the couple times I used it.

And there is the nice, ingame "talking" lights on unit frames so you can see who is talking if you don't recognize their voice.

Sound quality is about the same as vent.

I'll probably roll a tank of some sort, although that's the last thing I really need to play.  It will definately make things interesting!

Since its a RP server, the name should be some what RP, then the natives will treat us better. Also, we should probably consider some soft of soft RP story, just in case anyone is in to that.

The RP folks on Venture use certain UI addons to communicate there RP intent to each other.  They generally are keep to themselves.

There's a guild on my RP-server called "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" (or some variant -- that might be too long, but it was obvious what they were going for). And, of course, I was the founding and sole member of "Bald Men Walking" until I deleted by bald warrior.

Sounds like VC is a crappy RP-PVP server then. When I played on Twisting Nether there was a lot of RP going on all over the place.

I'm subbed and I made a BE rogue so I'm intending to play a bit now and then.  I'm after Xmas goodies!  I don't know how long I'll stay interested but, at least, I'll start in an area I've never seen before.  I know you're feeling the same lack of motivation for the current crop of games.  God, I hope one of the new games coming out will keep me interested for more than a month or so! 

I have a fancy new glowy keyboard, too, with a matching mouse!  Lately I've been staring blankly at  the glowy bits fading in and out while I pretend to play games. 

PS  I also made a Paladin because I've never played one of those.  Paladin = Kochanski, Rogue = Gotherella.  She really is rather goth looking.  I wonder how many people will /tell to complain.  I loves itl.

Probably not many. A twinked Orc warrior offered to duel me. He was called Killznoobz. I also saw a couple of Tauren called Ilovejimmy and Ilovewayne running around together. This mirrors my experience of the PvE RP servers.
