Yeah, Merusk's avatar sort of makes it awkward at work sometimes.

Also when I was visiting my parents house, and was using their PC for a bit.  Walked behind while viewing the forum and thought I might be looking at porn.   awesome, for real

You can disable avatars in the profile control panel.

You can then manually view someone's avatar by clicking on their profile.

Is there anyway to just disable it for a particular person?

Maybe adblock does?  I turn off all animated gifs in firefox about:config.  I have to right click and view image to see the animations in the funny picture thread but that's fine.

Obviously the campaign is in beta. I will not acknowledge such shit as part of the value $60.00 package I paid for in the Limited Edition of Battlefield 3 Pre-Order. /monocle

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

More than anything, these photos separate the boys from the men. The men have lived through the 80s, and chortle in recognition. Those too young become fashion holocaust deniers.

Sadly, there are those in Pittsburgh who live close to the rivers that continue to keep those appearances and display them proudly. Want to walk into a time capsule, hit up any Poison concert that comes to the Burgh. Those people are not playing dress up or feeling nostalgic... that is how these people are, every day.  ACK!

I still get images of Gul Ducat when I hear "Kardashian".
