It took me a minute to get it, and by then it really wasn't that funny.

MrB's post combined with Lant's post (was after MrB's and not directly addressed to the Lebron issue, which I forgot made its way into the funny pic thread) made me think the chick in the picture was a present to some 12 year old. As such, I realize now that the picture/"joke" was so bad that I was happier thinking someone got a great present on their 12th birthday instead of knowing the actual punchline. Ohhhhh, I see.

To which I respond: So what.  It's his life.  Athletes have a short window in time to make their money and achieve their personal and professional goals.  LeBron stayed longer than most would have due to his loyalty contract. I don't see how Cleveland has anything to bitch about.  They got over a decade to watch one of the best athletes this world has to offer.

Also, it's fucking Cleveland.  Gee... I'm young and rich... would I rather live in Cleveland or Miami?  Tough choice.

Still better than Cincinnati, yet T.O. and 85 seem to like it here.  awesome, for real

So it's come to posting GIFs of America's Funniest Home Videos?

As with all other athletes I suspect that "Support" really means, "Looking the other way when he committed misdemeanors. Helping him break the rules (Who remembers the saga of the car he bought his mom as a senior?) and giving him rim jobs about how great he is."

That car was bought with a loan against his future earnings, it was perfectly legal.  People would have been mad at him no matter how he chose to leave but that self serving one hour special was a giant fuck you to the city of Cleveland.

Heart AFV with Tom. That dude from Full House was creepy. We saw his stand-up where he rants about AFV and how much he hated it (and Full House), he's just an angry, ungrateful, unfunny douchebag.

Heh. Reminds me of that Screech kid from Saved by the Bell. He went on to comedy and just ranted about it. Probably woulda helped his act if he didn't reference the past so much. (Both of em!)

Sagat was ALWAYS a dirty, creepy, foul-mouthed SOB.  It's what he was known for before Full House.  He was one of the bluest "blue" comics out there when he got the part as I understand it.  He and other comics I've heard interviewed over the years have talked about what a bizarre choice it was asking him to be this sanguine, sweet dad character.

have a friend in the comedy circuit she said the same thing, Bob S. is the foulest of the foul and his routine now goes into how much he wanted to fuck the Olsen twins.../shrug

That said he has the look, he looks like a nice mellow friendly middle of the road christian father just doing his best.

*edit* that roast is great... but we need the funny.

In addition to its foulness, his stand-up is painfully unfunny.

I think my favorite lines from that particular stand up are:

"Doris Leachman is so old, her tits are labeled Whites and Coloreds only.  Her tits are a shameful time in this nations history."

"I Googled Bob Sagat and it came back "Why?""

But yeah, everybody should give the entire thing a watch.  There are only a few weak spots, and a ton of fucking hilarious routines.

I love Gilbert and my fiancee TOTALLY FUCKING HATES HIM. So I have to reference him at least a couple times a week. It's my duty. It's usually the Marcel Marceau bit.

Gilbert Gottfried was also brilliant on the Joan Rivers roast as well.  It's a shame most people don't get to see that side of him, he's hilarious when he's blue.

Someone needs to fix that.  It needs to open with a panel of Freeman saying something like "Hello Mankind" to establish his voice in your head and follow the tradition of the commercials.

I cannot get behind this dislike of Bob Saget.

First thing I saw him in was, like many people, Full House. Annoying.

Then I saw him in Half Baked, and those meager few lines made up for it.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly? "I used to suck dick for crack! YOU EVER SUCK DICK FOR WEED???"
