From what I've seen, he's drinking exactly like a Russian.

As a Venn diagram aficionado I laughed at that way longer than a normal person should.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

I mean, there is no way anybody actually thinks like that.  Right?  That's right up there with the argument that they suck all the life energy out of the surrounding area, thus killing all wildlife and whatnot.

We live in a world where people believe a woman who got famous for showing her tits over scores of medical professionals about vaccines and autism. A world where a Presidential candidate is denying lies that he said, even after video of him saying it is shown. A world where people honestly believe that the moon landings have all been faked.

If anything it's surprising to me MORE people do t think like that, not that one got his loony thoughts published in the paper.

That's from Viz, a British parody comic. It's like a less political Onion aimed at 15 year olds.  Facepalm

Edit: no, I'm wrong, the reader letter I'm thinking of is a different one. I have no idea if that's real.
