Cookies are often made with flour, right?  So they're a grain.  Cookies are breakfast.

That's why I like oatmeal chocolate chip.  They're healthy... they have eggs and oatmeal!

ACK!

The only Oatmeal cookie I recognize is Raisin.

Why spoil your soft cookie with hard chips? Vote Raisin in your next purchasing decision.

Chocolate Chips! Next you'll tell me you like a snickerdoodle with maple syrup in it.

Oh god. I want this now.

Raisins are disgusting and should never be allowed near a cookie under any circumstances.  If the chocolate chips in your chocolate chip oatmeal cookie are hard, whoever made them did it wrong.

Over and out.

I accept cranberries as a suitable substitute.

Well, yeah, liquid chocolate? That works. Everything is better fresh baked. Even potheads.

Ew, even the people who make cranberries don't like cranberries.

Cranberries are not a thing one wants to eat or drink on its own. But when mixed with some other stuff it can be quite good.

Cran-pomegranate with a splash of lime in vodka for instance.

Dried cranberries and white chocolate oatmeal cookies are also exceptional.

I need to write a novel that I think is complete romance garbage, then sell it. I'd hate myself and cash out.

Fifty Shades of Grey = Letters to Penthouse only it is targeted at women instead of men.

I hear it's quite suspenseful. Will the rich, charming, prince (with a serious bad-boy vibe!) get the beautiful, modest princess? It's a mystery.

Twilight fan fiction was always going to suck. It starts from source material that's shit to begin with.

My wife reads quite a large quantity of romance novels ranging from hard core to silly stuff. She said 50 shades of grey was absolute shit.

There's certain aspects to fanfiction that are problematic when writing fiction. For starters, you have already defined characters and a defined setting. If you're not conscious of it, you'll be writing very wooden characters and skimp on setting because you and everyone else already KNOW about Sparkly Vampires and that Edward's dreamy.

Not that every fanfiction writer does that. Heavens no. But erotica's already prone to wooden characters and lack of setting.....

Now, if they made a movie of Glorious Shotgun Princess, I'd watch that. :)

I have thought about this so many times. I'm not sure I could write a romance with my utter contempt for the genre and its readers bleeding through.

Of course, it would still be better than The Mormon's Guide to BDSM.

If 50 Shades were written by a man.

Quote
Staring at her naked body, I asked what she wanted. She told me to go for something between a smack and a stroke. So I went for a smoke.

A few are pretty funny.

Quote
'Hurt me!' she cried, pressing her body up against the shed wall. 'Alright,' I said. 'You're a terrible cook and I fancy your sister.'
