I want to slap whoever made that image. Not because they turned the all-male cast of TF2 into women or fallen into the usual trap of either removing half their clothing or making whatever clothing they leave skin-tight, but because they completely ignored the design principles of the original characters - to be instantly recognizable from any distance or in any light. The women are all basically exactly the same shape. Poor. |

The depictions in the drawing obviously aren't meant to be serious, but I always found it odd that one couldn't pick female characters in TF2. Doubly odd considering how much Valve seems to have the pulse on the secret desires of their customers (hats, cards...) |

The point Mattemeo had about visual design is probably a big part of it (although they originally didn't want to do crazy hats for the same reason, and obviously they ended up relenting). I'd imagine there might also be some shyness about putting "women" and "violence" in close enough proximity that somebody can start saying that TF2 promotes violence against women. |
