Every time I encounter that, I just have to attempt to imagine Mario in a THAT kind of Tanuki suit.

ACK!

I think that's awesome.  Then again, I'm single and have a shitty memory.

I don't see the issue. Password-safe programmes, encrypted MS word files, everything can be compromised. Try hacking paper!

Edit: I have all my passwords in a little red Leuchturm notebook at my desk.

Given that the security purists insist that everything has to have a 16+ character password, that can not include any words from the dictionary, must contain numbers, mixed case, and special characters, *and* has to be different for each of the 7 different systems under the same administration, *and* must be changed every 14 to 90 days (different dates and durations for each of those seven systems) *and* can't be the same PW I used for any of those systems in the last year....

Be glad I'm texting my PW's to myself, and not just sticking them on post-its under the monitor.

I don't see how. They're the same length, but only one is vulnerable to dictionary attack. According to the back of this envelope you'd need 4-5 words before the search space for a dictionary attack becomes larger than that for a brute force of 14 random case-sensitive alphanumeric characters.

The first one has a fraction more entropy than the second one though both round up to 4 bits of Shannon entropy so really they are effectively the same strength.

Learned a new term, thanks. Still not sure how it relates to practical security, but I'll look it up.

This is unironically a safer password storage mechanism than KeePass, LastPass, OnePassword, etc etc.

Spoilered for size.  The California Purge.  Thousands of beachgoers disappear as some mysterious phenomenon completely destroys all organic life in a few mile radius.
