What choice did he have? He could have dragged her in but then he'd be on some sex offenders list. He could shouted at her but then she'd kick his ass. He could have done nothing and been late for work and lost his job and his wife would leave him and take the kids and he'd die a lonely, bitter old man. Or he could kick her ass out the door. It might have been a bad thing to do, but at least she's with her friend now.

Actually, I'm convinced that people have next to no spacial awareness of their surroundings or the people in it. I witness this daily maneuvering around Pittsburgh - people here seem concerned only with what is directly in front of them. There is no regard to anyone or anything outside of a 90 degree FoV. I could create hours of video demostrating this in people driving or walking or biking. And then everyone becomes appalled at the fact someone, anyone, would call them out on it. Sadly, the foot to the ass approach doesn't actually make the recipient aware of their own selfish actions, they don't even comprehend a problem in fucking up everyone around them. They just focus on who would dare question them or physically remedy the problem they are causing. |

Those are the kind that are hinged to a plastic base; you set up 8 at a time just by flipping the piece over and back. I would guess the cat was either plopped into the middle afterward, or sleeping.
