So I thought we had a tattoo thread but I can't find it.  I'm no ink fanatic or expert (hell I don't have one and wouldn't consider it) but even I can tell this is an awful tattoo.

I'm choosing the funny thread because it's just so awful. You'd think someone like Scarlet could afford something at least halfway decent.

It's the artist's style, though you can't really see it in a design that simple. Google for the other pics and you can see samples of his art on the wall.

I thought the joke was that lucky horseshoes had to have 7 holes, not 8 (which is standard)?

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

She's too adorable to have complex tattoos.  I can see stars and hearts and swirly things, not intense or scary things.  I think she made a choice that probably suits her.  Also, I kind think it's cute.

I'm more distracted by the fact that it looks like someone drew that on her skin with a heated ballpoint pen.

I'm disappointed that her glorious funbags are covered by her arm. That looks to be a somewhat sheer shirt.

It's also sort of lopsided, isn't it?  Or is that just my eyes?

He means yes, it's lopsided.

I agree she should go with simple.. it's the "deliberately bad" thing that amazes me.  I'll pay $1500 for goofy shit some prison artist could have done for a pack of cigs.

No, I don't understand 'pre-worn' and 'recovered' fashion, either.  Paying a fortune to look poor seems incredibly pretentious at best.

Just because she's famous doesn't mean she's any smarter than the rest of the population.  There are plenty of shitty tattoos out there.

While it's not the most complex style, I quite like it.

There's some really awesome, iconic pieces in there.  There's also some pretty questionable pieces, too.

As someone with lots of terrible ink done by friends with terrible ink, I think her tat is pretty cool.  I'd be proud of that piece if it were on me, because it looks like it has a story behind it.  Good ink is about the story as much as the art.  All my ink has a connection to my timeline, even if some of it I've regretted from time to time.  Oddly, I've been getting the itch for more soon, maybe this is my mid-life crisis?  Instead of buying a super car I'll get a bunch of ink.

Clearly time for a life-altering face tattoo.  Just no teardrops, even if you're weeping for humanity.

The great thing about rk47's stuff is that it's pretty much the anti-Bloodworth.
