It should be common adult knowledge that good coffee requires brewing around the upper 190 degree range. If you don't already understand that coffee is hot maybe your genetic code doesn't need to proliferate. |

Our bassett hound thinks road trips are the most awesomely explosive combination of smells and sights, she's glad to go on them. Our Boston terrier pants and rolls his eyes like he's been cornered by a hungry tiger. Until he thinks we're getting close to whatever, at which point:
a) it is the vet, so panic and whimper like you're Nick Cage being cast in a revival of "Brigadoon"
b) it is a hotel or a camping tent, at which point say, "Awesome!" and relax by farting a lot and being very pleased in general but not at all objecting to being given a treat as compensation for your suffering
c) it is a walk or a hike, at which point explode with the pent-up energy of a thousand suns about to go supernova and generally demonstrate that you are grateful that the strange horseless carriage has delivered you into your own little heaven

My beagle loves car rides. LOVES THEM.
Until someone leaves the car. Anyone. If "all the people" are not in the car, the dog goes ape shit. I'm pretty sure he concussed himself trying to leap onto the dash to physically yank my kid back into the car, because ALL THE PEOPLE must be in the car. If anyone leaves, he gets to leave. That's apparently the rule.

My beagle is spaz about car trips because she loves going ANYWHERE. Vets to have a doc stick a finger up your bum? LOVE IT! Pet store to be washed and nails trimmed? LOVE IT!
Only dog I've ever met who loves trips to the vet. My daschund regards them as hell on earth.
