Probably because most of them seem to have that odd practice of letting people keep their open beta chars w/o a wipe. |

Nostale was pretty/cutsey but fucking utter crap when it first showed up about 4 years ago or so. I have no reason to think anything has changed. If you need cute that bad feel free to play Indian Ragnarok Online which is free2play. Just as grindy but at least I know at higher levels the characters can do pretty cool stuff if you like seeing really big damage numbers spammed at high speeds.

Well it's certainly a cute and colorful game. Controls are a bit wonky and the translations suck big time. Looks like there's quite a bit of character customization which is surprising given the look of the game.
