Assassin's Creed and WoW BGs.

I'm playing it for backstory on Resident Evil.

Note that in 2007, the kids all combo Wikipedia and YouTube so they don't have to actually play the game for story now.

Also, the wife has figured out that Mario Galaxy is out and will probably tell the boy.  The boy, he's only seen the cardboard standup in Toys-R-Us and is actually telling eveyone he knows about the new Mario In Space game.  I sometimes forget he's only three... but then he goes and pisses in the bathtub and I remember that he is, indeed, three.

I like SMB2 on its own, particularly the music.  It's just weird, like a dream or something.  I'm pretty sure SMB3 is a better game, but I have managed to not get very far into it.  I blame not having a NES at the time and SMW.  Or perhaps Blaster Master, since I somehow played SMB2 but not 3.  In any case, I think I only finished world 1-1.

So...
Viva Pinata [360] - It's addictive and frustrating.  Firstly, why do game designers always have to throw some crap-ass bullshit into a fun and relaxing game?  Secondly, this game has the most handholdy tutorial I have played in a long time.  I also thought the boy might like it, but there's a lot of pinatas eating each other.
SMT Digital Devil Saga [PS2] - Trying to negate Gale's weakness to lightning and grinding away on it, and forgetting my fighting tactics during the hiatus.
Ratchet & Clank Future [PS3] - Started Challenge mode, working on the Skill Points (Achievements, before MS stole the idea and named them so) and Omega weapons.
Etrian Odyssey [DS] - Fucking ants.
Forza 2 [360] - Started racing European cars, with the usual sprinkling of an American one or two.
Titan Quest expansion [PC] - NT.
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 [PC] - Also NT.

Guitar Hero 3. W00t for pc version.

Still working through the Witcher, great game...load times get onerous after a while. If it wasn't one of the greatest rpgs evar, I'd hate on it big-time. But...it's one of the greatest rpgs of all time.

Rolled up a lizard bruiser in Kunark, not really playing it yet. Want to wait for the newbie areas to clear out a little bit first, game was chugging last night when I logged in for a few minutes.

I'm having trouble with my haruspex (hunter+dreamcatcher), but that's mostly because hunters rock.

I love the name Haruspex. I named one of my EQ2 guys that but he's mostly a trades mule because guardians like healers more than I do. Such a waste of splendiforous namery.

Well, Crysis is so much better than Timeshift....gawd. It's not mind numbingly overpowered either. It's just that it gave me a 'true-freedom' over how I could go around accomplishing the goals. Couple that with quicker load time and nifty game mechanics....I'm sold  awesome, for real

Wife has said "No more Blue Dragon, it is obnoxious and also it sucks."
Drawn To Life [DS] - Meh.  It's better than Children of Mana.
Half-Life 2: Ep 2 [PC] - Awesome.  Well, until the part I'm on now.
Titan Quest [PC] - NT
Super Mario Galaxy [Wii] - It's like when I climb the rope in gym class.  Also: an actual reason to own a Wii.

Wife has been playing The Sims 2: Castaway [Wii] and all I can say is that it is better than Lost in Blue and MySims.  The UI is completely horrible, though.

The boy, he can't get enough of Space Mario but he prefers to watch me play.

Welp, the Witcher should be arriving sometime soon, as well as not being able to play mass effect till like Sunday (stupid family!).

Won't be playing Hellgate since I got bored (fickle!), and I'm not allowed to play SMGalaxy unless the wife is home.

This I'll go try mythos.

I just picked up Assasin's Creed and Uncharted.  Now all I need is Mass Effect and I'm ready for my 6 days off starting this weekend.  Hurray for the holiday rush.

I'm holding off on Mass Effect until the end of the month, when I can get a big discount on it (employee night shit).

It's ok, as I still have Assassin's Creed, Ace Combat 6, NHL 08, Dead Rising, MUA, Forza 2, and whatever I feel like signing out to take up my time.

OH yeah, still need to finish Persona 3. Also, still playing FFT PSP.

Reinstalled Freespace 2 this weekend for some old style space-sim action.  Also playing GTA: San Andreas.  LOTR online is on-hold.

Oh - and for all  your zombie information, I recommend "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max "Son of Mel" Brooks.

Necro, but wasn't worth a new thread.

The guys over at Freespace 2 Source Code Project have been busy. Since the last time I checked (awhile), they've written an entire Installer. 20mb download, some unsane amount of download/patch stuff after, if you want everything. Well worth it though. While the intro and menu screens are about what they were years ago, the game itself is very awesomely updated to both function and look great on my new(ish) rig, and at widescreen aspect to boot.

Includes the entire original Freespace 2 game (the debatable legality discussed here), so you don't need to dig up your old discs. And it includes the FRED mission/zone editor.

Definitely worth the download.

Nobody on the multiplayer servers though smiley

Folklore [PS3] - Wife says I cannot play it without her, so I played more Blue Dragon [360] when she passed out.

Watched Sauced play the Folklore demo on Sunday. It hurts my eyes. It reminds me of the Faeries book from when I was a kid. We'll definitely pick it up after things settle down a bit with all the holiday spending nonsense (the PS3 was his early xmas gift). The Uncharted demo is also amazing - I usually don't care for shooters but even I want to play it.

I also am playing VF5 and Halo 3 MP.

Getting back into KOF XI cause apparently Schild is going to start playing.

Maybe that's why I didn't play it for very long, I can't remember now.  I keep meaning to start again.  I get motion sickness from some games, too.  I hate that.

I've been playing Uncharted and it rocks.  The storyline hooked me fast and the gameplay is absolutely wonderful.  I can't say enough good things about it.  If you have a PS3 and don't buy it, you suck!

Assassin's Creed and Fire Pro Wrestling are also a lot of fun and I'm not a fan of stealth games or wrestling.

I need to make time for Fire Pro. Loved it before and it seems to have gotten more technical. It's going to be one of those rare games I'll have to "practice" on.

Uncharted is GOTY material. Absolutely no question whatsoever.

That's good to hear about Uncharted.  A couple more and I may pick up one (that and BBonline finally renting out BluRay discs will seal it for me).

Currently playing:

Mass Effect (Weekends)
The Witcher (Going to start this week)
TF2 (the snipe is strong w/ this one)
Also, Civ4 when I get bored of the last 2 during the week.

I'm PC games week, 360 weekends.  Timesharing my gaming.

Witcher is now taking a back seat to Mass Effect, though I will be coming back to it.  HG:L fell by the wayside some time ago and I haven't spent more than 2 hours in EQ2 in the last two months.
