My score must've rolled over from 9,999 at some point.

Snuh.

Etrian Odyssey.  Fucking ant hive and training up a ronin.

Titan Quest.  I blame Hellgate.

Blue Dragon.  I like it and I'm not ashamed.  The boss fight music, however, is horrible.  Japanese thrash metal?  My ears fold in on themselves.  Also, I DLed the "extra hard mod" thingy last night.

I have not played R&C since last weekend or so.  Will get back on it soon.

Been watching the boy play Beautiful Katamari.  He's actually the one that has unlocked most of those achievements; pretty much all I have done is finish the final level for him, and in fact I've never seen the new-game intro.  Seriously.  He's three.  This morning he yells out (because he's really into announcing things) that he found another present.  Rock on.

The Simpsons Game is pretty damn funny, especially for people who are both gamers and Simpsons fans.  It doesn't match the raw fun of Road Rage (a suprising game, to say the least) but at least it's not a clone of another game with a Simpsons skin.  The graphics are neat for about an hour, then they start to look really shitty.

I have bought several games which I'm not sure I will boot up until I retire or am bedridden for an extended period, like the PS3 Lego Star Wars compilation and Viva Pinata.  I had a good bit of wine on Saturday.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Heh, mostly been playing:

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines: $10 bucks and there's a 4.3 fan patch that works flawlessly with the Steam version. This game I think has officially replaced Mechwarrior 4: Mercs as my "must play through at least once a year or whenever you get the urge too".  Playing as a Tremere isn't a giant change and I already miss the Malkavian dialog (and costumes).  I may have to play a Malk run after this. I'm not sure how a Nosferatu run works, can you even do any of the side quests being that monumentally hideous?

Eternal Sonata: I may need to write a review on this, because my thoughts on it are very mixed. On one hand, it's the first good jRPG on the 360, on the other hand, it's not a very good jRPG.  This game has so much good and bad elements side by side, it's hard to know what to make of it all.

TF2: is TF2.  If I don't play often, my skills really degrade (and they're degraded currently).  I had an awesome pyro kill of Sam on Friday.  Bob and weave :)

Skate: somewhat tapered off.  XBL play is really a sight to behold.  What a conflagration of retards.  Trying the online play may have killed my interest to play awhile. I'm to the point (in single player) where there's just a handful of stuff I don't care to try beating (heh, too hard) and the rest of the game is complete.  So mainly I just skate around the town looking for big jumps and fun lines.

I picked up Lego Star Wars yesterday.  That game is just too much fun for me, I actually put down Ratchet & Clank for it.

Also re-working my way through Final Fantasy XII and Okami.

Ronins are love.  Landie, Ronin, Survivalist, Troubador, Healer.  They kicked ass and took names.  The ants were pretty easy IIRC.

That's actually what I have, in that exact order too, except Alchie instead of Troubie.  Trouble is my ronin is level 30 while the others are level 45ish, so she is basically a fifth-wheel until she can get her damage output up.  Getting close.  What would help is if my Alchie was better at damaging multiples, but he's geared to do massive damage to single targets.

I did actually get to the ant boss, but my damn ronin was level 28-29 or so and was unable to contribute to the effort.  Also didn't get poison to land on the boss, which might have contributed greatly to a win.  Maybe better luck next time.

I must confess that this title holds the record for holding my attention the longest on a console.  I can see why... it's fun.

I probably beat more games than Phil.

Though that's probably not what you meant, but I can't read spelling errors.

By "beat", you mean got halfway through?  If that's the case, then the point is yours sir.

And to clarify, I only played through Lego Star Wars II.  This one has both games in one.  Plus, it's a whole new pile of awesome achievements!

Witcher. Still having fun with the Crysis demo.

Supervisor has been playing a lot of Civ4 lately and was talking about his game, so of course now I'm in the mood to play Civ4. Playing as the mongols, I think it's the first time the game has ever run out of turns on me.

You need to make time.

I'm hesitant to gush about it here because Schild will just take a big dump on it, but it is really, really outstanding.

I've heard it's the best 3D Mario.

Which means I simply have no interest. I miss the harder levels of 1, 3, and W.

Schild is quickly become the Don Quixote of gaming. It's cool that he like what he likes, but there is something a bit odd about dusting off your Wii to play a light-gun game instead of the new Mario.

Light Gun Game is to debasing.

I'm playing it for backstory on Resident Evil. Given that I can't get it on any other system, I'm dusting off my Wii for back story on Resident Evil. Not to Not Play Galaxy.

But spin it however you want. There's no question the actual game Umbrella Chronicles will be a bucket of shit.

I liked the 3D Marios better.  Then again, I liked 2 a lot.  I realize I'm somewhat of a Mario oddity for not worshiping at the altar of 3.

Playing TF2 and VTM: Bloodlines.  Giving the 360 a breather. He's going to get a work out being disappointed by Mass Effect.

While I had a lot of fun with certain aspects of SMB3, I overall enjoyed the broken SMB2 more.

Albeit, SMB3 is undeniably the superior game as far as design and such go.

I am thinking of putting all my games on the shelf, ending all my subs and only playing survival horror games ever again.  Well, for years or maybe months or something like that.  Even though they mostly paralyze me with fear.
