I know they've (the gliding suit) been around for a while, but DAMN that guy has some serious balls.

FUCK that. I nearly vomited just watching the video. I like my terra firma under my feet, not hurtling at me at 100+ MPH.

I would so have the urge to say, "I'm batman" as I passed those skiers.

That's super crazy but also really cool. If his life insurance company knew about this, they'd drop his policy in a heartbeat.

Reminded me of an old cartoon.

I always loved that cartoon with Wile E. in the flying suit. Mostly because of the completely awesome look he has on his face before he eats it.

The guy who did it takes helicopters to the tops of remote mountains in the middle of nowhere and then skis down them.

I highly doubt if he had ever had an insurance policy.  I also think I recall hearing in another Warren Miller film (or maybe later in the same one) that the guy in the bat suit died in an avalanche.

I thought it was sky diving.  Or maybe both given that video.  Dead is still dead though.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

I think it would be a good idea for batsuit man to strap some jet engines to his boots.

Nah, but I do enough stuff to know what my insurance company doesn't like (riding a motorcycle, being a pilot, regular sky diving, etc).

Flying Squirrel Man. (that's what his shadow looked like at any rate)

Two words come to mind. Hell, and No. I think I'd have a heart attack before it even got scary.

Here is the more accessible version.

Seems like it would be just as awesome and a bit safer. A tiny bit.

I'd lose it about 01:00.

If I was an experienced paraglider, I'd do it. Probably less risk than falling while skiing such terrain normally.

I don't think you can ski that, it's rocks all over.  Kickass videos though.

There was that other video posted here you just need a parachute and a deathwish.  Why can't these people commit suicide in the old fashion ways?
