Question for the people in BC Beta

Can anyone in Beta tell me if black Epic versions of the new racial mounts for BE/Dranei are available in the Champions' Halls for 30AV/30WSG/30AB tokens like those for all other races?

I realise I'll know in a few days one way or another, and even if they're not in now in Beta they may be added when the game goes live, but I'd still like to know so I can decide whether to grab a shitload of tokens in the next couple of days before the BGs go dead...

Beta closed on Friday sometime so I can't check right now.  However, last I checked there weren't any available yet.  No idea if it's an oversight, planned or a bug.

I never saw any either. Most likely an oversight. I'd bet they show up eventually but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting either. A lot of us bitched about the "plainness" of epic flying mounts compared to the normal speed one's looks but that didn't get changed either.
They did however add black versions of the mounts available in Nagrand as PvP rewards. I still prefered the look of the Blue one but that's just me.

That makes total sense. Can't hurt to have the tokens in the bank ready for them when they're patched in I guess.

Nope, the ones I'm talking about are the Talbuk mounts. Only just remembered the name so I kind of glossed over it last post. The black ones are purchasable with tokens dropped by dead players in PVP in Nagrand, where you fight over a town in the middle of the zone. I think you also need tokens gained from pve as well but not quite sure about that though most of the pvp rewards needed a token amount of the pve tokens as well. Normal epic talbuk mounts are faction purchases from a vendor, the pvp ones as i said take tokens. All the zones with pvp objectives have vendors who sell some pretty nice stuff for the tokens dropped by enemy players.

Ah ok. I knew they were talking about expanding world pvp options and making them ore meaningful than the crappy quests in Sith and EPL, but I didn't know anything about the actual execution.

Well, got my honor for my final item now. Just have to farm up 30/30/30 to bank for later on now....

Isn't the advanced (150) riding expensive, like 700 gold now, and the epic mount thing was only 75?

They lowered the price for Epic mounting (150) the other day. Now it's 600g (or 540g, after discount).

So you have to spend 600g and then pvp for a week straight to get 30+30+30... or just pay another 90g and buy the damn mount. Yeah. I'll go with the 90g route.

...that is unless you were already level 60, already PVPing for the gear, and by doing so had most of the tokens already. 



Oh, and yeah. Unless you wanted to rep grind your life away to exalted so the other allied factions will sell you their mount(s).
