Just read the news that Dave Cockrum passed away from diabetes related complications. He hadn't done much if any comic work in recent years, and is mostly remembered for his work co-creating the "All-New, All-Different" X-men. In an industry filled with splash pages, double page spreads, and so-called "cinematic" art style, it's sad to see the passing of an artist who cared more about telling the story visually rather than trying to be flashy. |

Damn. His work on X-Men, especially with the Brood/Starjammer issues was just fantastic.
