They were offered fifty billion dollars, it wasn't enough.  The last investor group who tried this wanted to break the company up, you might see Blizzard as its own company again someday.

Hmm...someone was asking what would kill Blizzzerd? I think thats the answer: get bought out from on high and then killed for the golden eggs.

$50 billion. Sure their music label is big and all, but unless KKR is playing with some calculator that multiples in five dimensions, I can't for the life of me figure out how they'd pay that off. Maybe break up Vivendi into a bunch of public baby-Bell type companies?

Whatever it is, that's a hell of a lot of money. Why can't some of that accidentally fall my way?!
