When forced to eat fast food, it's always best to order without condiments. Apparently condiments to the average person is a gooping slathering of mayo-based product that gushes out of the edge of the sandwich with enough force to require FEMA to mishandle the results.

A Wendy's spicy chicken is actually pretty decent with some dijon mustard.

It was this kind of thinking that prompted me to take an electric clipper and shave my head one day after a 5 mile run.  It has been 6 years and I'm still bald... granted genetics has played a small part.

Two pieces of bacon, swiss and pepperjack, and "the Colonel's sauce".  1200 Calories.

I'm somewhat afraid of the Colonel's sauce.

Is that "protein style"? Where's the bread? Also, a serving of cheese (a slice, a 1" cube, or 2 tbsp grated) is usually 110 calories.

Sauce is definitely scary but the pic makes me hungry anyways.

Aw, he's not so bad once you get to know him.  awesome, for real

Where's the bread?

They fed it to the chicken before they turned her into a bun.

I'm sure the Colonel's Sauce is 90% HFCS and 10% Natural Flavor.

I was handed an envelope today that contained a pro-HFCS set of materials.  Apparently everything is A-OK with HFCS and something else is making Americans fat.  Possibly those video games from the other "study".  What is making me fat(er) is lasagna and jasmine rice.

I love how places advertise things as being 100% natural.  Shit is 100% natural but I don't want it on my sandwich.  HFCS may be from a natural source, but the state it exists in is hardly the natural state we find it.  Ok, it is in structure, but certainly not in concentration.

I'm so pretty it doesn't really matter. She's known me through pretty much every phase of bald, short-med-long hair, beard, clean-shaven, various 'staches and goatees. Though I've had long (now medium) hair and a beard since we've dated.

Pitchblende is natural.  It may even be delicious.  But I don't want it on my fucking sandwich.

OK, I am a hypocrite.  KFCs are my guilty pleasure, and the one UK fast food burger joint I will visit.  As long as they label it and keep the amounts below 1.5% on the light option I am prepared to put up with small amounts of pitchblende, but only in the Zinger tower and wrap meals.

I don't get your puzzlement.  They sell burgers, but made of chicken instead of beef or ham.  Maybe there is a more specific definition in the US?  Even then I doubt if you'd really be confused by such a subtle cultural difference, so is there something else?

Here in the US "burger" by itself almost universally means a beef burger. If a sandwich in the style of a beef burger uses something else for the patty then that is put in front a la "chicken burger" or "veggie burger", etc. And even if you would use "burger" by itself to mean any type of patty you would never call something like KFC a "burger joint" here in the US as that is not what they sell predominately.

I'd even specify ground beef shaped into a patty.  Somehow ground chicken does not sound like a burger.  Other products are termed "sandwich".  On the other hand, I knew what Engels meant, so fuckit.

Of course I knew what you meant, it just looked very odd to me.  I've never seen anything outside of a hamburger ever referred to as a 'burger' before.

I've heard and say chicken burger, salmon burger, veggie burger.  Calling KFC a burger joint sounded odd.  We should talk more about how odd Endie is.  He really is an odd one.  Remember how he said stuff?

I agree with you, but if I couldn't occasionally have my Chipotle burrito, I think that life may not be worth living.

I don't consider Chipotle as fast food.  You can pick and choose what you put on it.  Besides, my daughter loves that place.

The few times I've been to America outside of large cities I've been most struck by the fact that almost every restaurant is some chain fast food type place. Most of these places are horrible why are they everywhere? Also why do so many of my relatives think ihop and applebees are great places to eat?

Look deeper. You generally have to look for real restaurants because they don't feature a massive neon sign and huge parking lot at a strip mall.

My relatives also prefer the chain places, though they know better than to invite me to one.
