I wasn't advocating going out and murdering your spouse..  but it sure does come across that way.  Hrm.

On a happier note...

I was just buying one of Henry Rollin's spoken-word albums on iTunes when I spied the "Listeners also bought" column.   I will now exercise my man-crush having bought "Make Love! the Bruce Campbell way"  as read by the man himself.  Well.. dramatized, actually, as he's the narrator and they use other folks to turn it into an audio play.   Awesome, and only $9.99

Yes, it's FIOS with that 20/20, which is still cheaper than Comcast's Blast 15/forever.  We don't use Verizon's wireless service.

If you have any issues let me know, I will get it taken care of.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

Its pretty ugly, and being in my position would rather not say publically.  I refer you to www.verizon.com and http://district2.cwa-union.org/

I get 3 times the pay I did my final year in the military, better medical, and better retirement, fyi.  Got my Social Security update letter today detailing things!

Hey, 99.999% is still a chance.

You might want to look on emusic.com - if you're not a subscriber, they have sign-up offers everywhere which get you '50 tracks' for free over 7 days. And you get '75 tracks' for $20 per month. Now, when you bear in mind that some of Rollins' spoken word 'tracks' can be half an hour long, that's some serious value for money. They also do subs for an audiobook a month for ten bucks, which is favorable. If you're going to buy a lot of stuff and its not on major labels (or if you're going to rape them with the free offer and cancel) it works out well.

I thought emusic was one of those sites with DRM that deleted/ disabled the songs after 30 days.  If not, then hrmmm...

What state/zip?

FYI, I may be moving positions in the next few weeks.  As usual would rather not say, but I can look into when/where the layout looks.  Well, maybe in a couple weeks.

When we checked the FIOS website a couple of weeks ago, it didn't recognise our address either, and this whole area was completely wired for it a couple of years ago or so.  Then it suddenly did recognise it.  Then it didn't.  I wouldn't trust the website for that.

HOLY SHIT THE BLUE ANGELS ARE ANNOYING AS FECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Yes. There are six of them. I think they finally went home. One of them did a loop right over my flat. Contrail about 50 yards from the roof.

I guess if you live near wherever they do their training that would suck but once a year or so isn't so bad.  I used to live in an apartment which had a rooftop terrace where you could see (and feel) the yearly airshow at the CNE in Toronto.  It was pretty fantastic being twenty stories up watching that.

Edit: Fuck.  I think I was one post away from getting page 100 first post.  I'm too classy to post again though awesome, for real.

I lived near the Air Station here and they flew ALL THE TIME.  Knew what I was getting into; you have to sign paperwork stating you know it will be loud.

Virginia Beach.  Actually, I even got paperwork when I moved out to the sticks.  It may be a Hampton Roads thing, not sure.  Also, I believe the paperwork was more along the lines of accepting the fact that a plane engine could land on you or some such garbage.

I never get tired of seeing air displays.  The sound doesn't bother me, either.  I spent a couple of off-ski seasons living near Kirkland Air Force Base, too, and I didn't even know what half those things I saw flying over head even were!  It was fascinating and awesome.  I wouldn't want to live near Heathrow or LAX, though.  That would be shit.

Could be worse. My dad was Air Force, and we lived at Nellis for a little over 3 years.

Mom finally gave up on keeping pictures straight on the walls.

The Thunderbirds sure do love breaking the sound barrier.
