As the one who entered the fray defending Auto Assault, I'll admit I got bored pretty fast of AA after some days of childish fun.
To be fair to myself, in that defense I stated that I loved the game but the monthly fee was unjustified.
I still think that way. It can sists on everyone's hard disk for months ready for those 10 minutes of destruction without shame. Would be a perfect mindless quick game, if it wasn't for the monthly fee. Now what were they thinking?
Ironically, I heard pretty much the same about DDO. It could be be a mildly nice CRPG, if it wasn't for the monthly fee.

There are no raids at the moment in AA. Even simple grouping (Convoy) it's 99% useless and not needed. They are summoning big raid bosses for the next patches, apparently. |
