That is awesome if just for the picture in the article.

I would also point out that if the sales numbers were great they would just release them. There is no point in holding back positive sales numbers, only negative ones.

I don't want to be part of an internet where we're a credible source.

EDIT - I was wrong,  7 day free trials users can make forum accounts, guess that means more DDO forum accounts.

Giving a big name license to Turbine is like giving a dick to a nun.  They don't know what to do with it, and even if they did they'd do it badly.

Are we talking about a nun who receives a dick, like, in a jar of formaldehyde?  Or a nun who gets a dick while it's still attached to a guy?  Or maybe a nun who is given a dick through the miracle of modern surgery?

Figure it out, intarweb detectives!

A young novice nun soon realised that the absence of sex in the convent was a problem. She confessed to Mother Superior that it was unhealthy and she was restless.

"Comfort yourself with a candle," she was advised.

"I've tried that," she said, "but you get tired of the same thing wick in and wick out."

Anyone else think Arthur deserves the grief title "Internet Detective"?

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Done.

Thanks.... (I think).

Below is the latest, created in the first nine weeks of DDO's release we have:-

1st Week = 11,133
2nd Week =  3,384
3rd Week =  2,496
4th Week =  1,835
5th Week =  1,263
6th Week =  1,372
7th Week =  1,016
8th Week =    721
9th Week =    713
Total = 23933

This latest 9th week includes the new 7 day trial users who have the ability to create forum accounts.

Soln, what's the point?  They don't want to release any subscription or sales numbers but designed their forums with sequential forum ids, I just think that's funny.

First DDO user to register, thur 23rf Feb
Last user, wed 26th April.  End of 9th week.

I wonder how long it will take them to use the AOL method of having a supply of CD's in retail locations, post offices and the like to gain subs?
