Once upon a time... Rosetta's second year at the comet

Another Rosetta update in the fairy tale style. As always cute, but also rather content heavy not fluff.

Thought this was really well done. Cena is such a cool dude.

Well, now that the Russians have finally leaked this video, can post it.  A US diplomat viciously attacks a Russian guard on his way into the Embassy in Moscow.   awesome, for real

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC10fyQgNqo

That video footage is from the FSB (they have a billion camera's around the embassy watching everything that goes on 24/7), and they gave us a copy.  When I was copying it over to our system so the Ambassador/Management could see, I reeeeeeeally wanted to splice Guiles theme into it the second the guy burst out of the guard shack.

ROOFLES. Love that RI Youtube account is so obviously Putin/Russian propaganda outfit. CIA SPY! Wouldn't a CIA spy be a better fighter than that? That really needed some Benny Hill type music or something equally ridiculous.

Well, the pol officer played it correctly.  He never started hitting the FSB agent since that would cause issues, and the FSB guy didn't hit him after the initial tackle.  They both just wrestled on the ground for awhile till the political officer was able to drag himself through the first set of double doors.  Though the guard held on to him with half his body in, the guard had to give up after that and let him go because they are absolutely not allowed past those double doors no matter what.  Does make for a pretty funny looking fight.

Also, if you want to see the real propaganda, which this news cast with the text translated.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t50kaqGxQs

They show that video, but literally say things that aren't happening.  That he got out of the cab and ran for the door, while wearing a hat/mask, never showing his ID.  His face was completely uncovered, he was walking, and you can't see it from that angle, but he actually flashed his diplomatic ID when he got out of the cab.  Not that it matters, because I walk into that door almost every day, and never show my god damn badge to the FSB agents, since they aren't there to protect us.  They are there to watch everybody who goes in and out and makes notes.  They have all of our faces memorized.

Anyways, been getting more fun over here.  The traffic stops are getting hilarious as well.  People getting pulled over 9 times in a week, for nothing.  One guy in the DAO was telling me the cops pulled him over one time, stood in front of his left headlight to block it, and told him his headlight was out.

One question and one comment.

Why aren't there any US guards on the other side of those doors? Like why couldn't the Russians let a suicide bomber just run through those doors and blow up that side of the Embassy?

That US guy that got tackled clearly had some grappling training. Those moves he did on the ground to get himself inside the doors are exactly the same as what experienced MMA fighters do in the ring to get themselves up against the walls of the ring to make it more difficult for the person on top to strike or submit the other person.

You see that second door on the other side of the outer doors?  That's the actual hard line.  That door/wall is heavily armored and bullet/explosive resistant (also locked at that time of night).  It leads into the main guard shack where we have our local guards checking ID's and the metal detectors.  After they confirm your identity, they buzz open another heavily armored door, and then you are inside the grounds.  So that's where the ID's are checked, not by the FSB guys out front, who's only job is to spy on us and occasionally harass us as we go in and out.

Anybody getting past them would just be locked outside in that little room.  That's the back entrance that a lot of family and employees use (we have a lot of people living on the compound itself).  That little room is basically just a waiting lobby.  Also, thats a stand alone building not commented to any of the main embassy buildings.  A suicide bomber would only be blowing up half the guard shack.

Hawk picks up snake... and drops it on a human family (I'm thinking it might be a fake, but it's very realistic)

I do not know where Ironwood is. He's from the same city as the people in the video. I too am a Scot (living in Australia) if it helps.
