New Kirby series at Marvel (sort of)

An no, not Kirby the video game character.  Quesada announced today that Marvel's Icon imprint (Marvel's imprint for creator-owned books) will be doing a series featuring a cast of Jack Kirby created characters titled Jack Kirby's Galactic Bounty Hunders.  Even more noteworthy is that Kirby's daughter Lisa will be writing the book.

Now I haven't read anything by Lisa Kirby so I don't know how good this will be.  I did a little digging around though and found that this project was apparently in the works under a slightly different title before Marvel picked it up.  From the preview it doesn't look like the greatest writing, but it could end up being fun anyway.

Jack Kirby was never the greatest writer himself, but damn could he put together some impactful stuff.
