So, we turn two this weekend. Saturday to be exact. A day on which very few people read or post. So we're making it a 4 day long shindig starting Friday and ending Monday. I'll make a post each time we add an article and amend this post each time as well. Crack out the cheap liquor and shitty snacks. We've got many a few things that should be celebrated!

Happy birthday.  I'm glad I stumbled across Waterthread one day, and I'm glad I stuck with you guys through the change.  Jury's still out on how I feel about registering for the forums.

... I have this sinking feeling that Lum's right.  At least there's no fee attached to this MMO.  Now to find some 1337 hax.

Lum's write up brought a nostalgic tear to my eye and gave me agita all at the same time.  I don't have to say anything flowery.  The lads at f13 know how I feel about them from the greeting cards filled with white powder and ticking packages I send them daily.

I've said it once and I'll say it 6,667 more times, sure people love the community but they also need the pvp.  Schild is only an effective leadership rolemodel because he sparks conflict through his ability to champion really stupid causes then claim everyone but him is clearly ignorant on the subject.  Without this obvious trolling disguised as a wizened moderator tending to his flock, all the pvp'ers would have already left.  People like Triforcer, Cevik, Haemish and Paelos help out too.

F13's version of Trammel for me was when they took Den posting rights from those of us who dont pay for premium content by sacrificing our time to actually write something intelligent that someone somewhere might find useful.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

It seems like a lot longer than 2 years to me. Is that a good sign or a bad sign?

That's the SMF copyright. Oh, you mean on the frontpage. Right, it isn't 2005 anymore. Uh. We'll add that to the laundry list.

Maybe that's why the guy stole your article...because your copyright was messed up?
