I am rolling a Shadowknight on one of the RP servers.  Not sure which one yet, working on his looks now.  Everyone is welcome to join me.

The one that starts with an L.

Lucan is the RP server SPT is on, BTW. I made a Human Evil Shadowknight on there last night to help her and her MMO Radio buddies get a guild.

I am there now.  This may be permanent.  Oasis has disapointed me.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

At this point I'm just going to ride it out.  There's been server mergers and an expansion so I'm not really surprised by the downtime.  The time for permanent moves was when server transfers were free.  As I recall, at the time we didn't take advantage of it largely because it could have a negative impact on the guild.  Talking about permanent moves now risks a much larger split since it means everyone would have to start new characters.

I am 95% sure that I am moving.  I did a few hours in the new server, and it feels more like home.  The downtimes did not really kick in until the free move was over.  For now BC can stay on Oasis, we have plenty of people in control.  If need be I will pass reigns to someone who will be staying.  Stay tuned as I make a lengthy post about my thoughs and such later tomorrow.

I have four toons on Oasis now. Two of which I transferred from my ex's account and which I will not let go, more or less in honor of her. So, if people are going to move to Lucan, I'm gonna have to make some hard decisions.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

By lengthy I meant short and to the point.  But anyway.   Hello Kitty

Someone posted this on the official boards.  As you can see, Oasis really did get a big chunk of people.  It's a dire situation in many respects.  I suggest we sulk and give SOE a sad, pouty look.

And you got that from just a few hours of playing huh?

Can't you just say you want to follow SPT around and be done with it?  :-D

Actually Velorath, it was someone elses idea.  But sure, I have the hots for SPT.  Who wouldn't?

It sucks, but it was predictable, both in terms of server populations and the number of people at certain levels thereon.

I think we chose Oasis for the right reasons, and any hasty decision we make now is only going to guarantee an un-fun guild fracturing.

Can we discuss first please?

That's kind of funny considering how we seem to have more population than Antonia Bayle whose population was already so high that they weren't allowing transfers to it.

Clever shading of the high population servers to match the EQ2 con system.

That list of numbers is a count of characters and not players if I'm not mistaken.  Already established as the biggest packrats in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if people on Steamfront had the most alts too.  Making a character last night, the server load appeared to be heavy on every single server.

if so, can we get a roster of Freeport-to-betray people?  Wanna keep my mouse

oh wait, they're changing the betrayal quest too?  another variable

Only a few are moving.  Most of us are staying.

I would rather be stabbed in the face repeatedly than have to level up another assassin.

That said, I did get a Shadowknight up to 7 on Lucan D'Lere, mainly to help SPT and her buddies form a guild.

My biggest problem is that most of you motherfuckers seem to be Qeynosian, and I'm in Freeport. I'm running up against the "there are too many fucking heroic mob quests" problem.

Not really. Some made alts on Lucan, but we're all active on Oasis still. It's a good server as any if you wanted alts and are not already spoken for by other groups.

That was my take on it. If you get fed up with Oasis, or if Oasis is down or whatever, it's nice to have an 'official' second home. Especially seeing that I already had half my characters there :P
