I was actually making it easy for Sky to do an iTunes search.  You know he will.

And he'll probably listen to "Samba de Chocobo" or "Theme of Love" or the vocal version of one of the songs and be like "What the fuck, those guys got me GOOD."

I know, I was trying to make it hard for him to fuck it up, but I can only do so much.  Plus I have zero musical talent so there's a chance I totallly suck; I have no ability to defend myself in a musical discussion other than "me rikey".

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Some people consider a urinal "art".

After 12 beers and an hour long car ride, I would be inclined to agree with them.

Morrowind was Jeremy Soule, whose credits include other games with the exact same tracks, such as Guild Wars, Azurik and Dungeon Siege.  Also Total Annihilation, Icewind Dale, Dawn of War, KOTOR, NWN, Kabuto, Unreal II, and some other stuff.  The John Williams of games, no doubt.

None of those I would go to see in concert, though.  The issue I have with Morrowind (and WoW) is not that the game music is bad per se, just that it's very ambient stuff.  It's good at what it does, and what it does is set an atmosphere for the player whilst he goes about the business of chopping stuff.  I played WoW for hours this week, and last week, and for most of the weeks over the past freaking year, but I'd be hard pressed to remember five minutes of music from that game.  Or from Morrowind or from Warcraft III or Baldur's Gate or any number of other titles.  It's all reasonably well done, it sets the mood fairly nicely, but it's mostly just ambient filler stuff, and it's just not something I'd pay money to sit through.  I imagine that everyone's list of game music they DO enjoy is rather different, but I really can't see people hoofing it down to the orchestra hall in large numbers to sit through a rendition of the Neverwinter Nights Peninsula District background music.

It depend's how its marketed. Ok it isnt a crowd of people hoofing it down to the local concert venue but The Barbican, an arts centre in London has held concerts featuring video game music. Rob Hubbard has been doing them that for years. It's definetly niche stuff, but this kind of thing always will be.

OTOH, the intro music for WoW (from the cinematic) - or any of the WC3 cinematics, for that matter - are fairly recognisable.

Anyway, back to the original topic: have a link. About four and a half hours of game music, in four chunks.

If you are rocking burger toppings, you must have your own special sauce. What a bunch of whoremop retards.

I'm pretty sure that IGN has had ads for all the major fast-food places at one time or another.  I know they've done McDonalds(the 'I'd HIT it!' ads come to mind), and prolly BK and others.  It's advertising.  IGN does get a lot of hits, no matter how much we know they suck.

His friends call him Nobuo and don't care about the last name.

He played to his real friends in your old stomping ground of Maryland on Saturday. You missed him, because you're a fair-weather friend.

I have no idea about this guy's music, but I Googled that and found it amusing.
