Recreated The Bat Country guild because someone has Bat Country or the name is bugged.

If you need an invite in guild, find me as Maytharyia or Helga, once people start logging in and get invited Xilren is getting back leadership.

And Cal, you may have already answered this somewhere but will the guilds be disbanded back and forth through stress?

Hopefully not. Right now we're tracking a bug with guilds so we may have to wipe the guilds again. We're going to try very hard to avoid it though.

I heard that PopTart will use spankings and fruit to "convince" you to fix it quickly.

k, didn't know you were having issues. My only issue has been the keybindings getting wiped and then new bindings not working.

No error, everything looks fine, then when I click launch, the computer thinks about it, then decides not to.

Friend of mine had a similar problem and this tip in the forums fixed it. Yes, this tip says people are getting a specific error message, but yours may be related and the same solution might work. Worth a try.

That is a completely different sort of Avatard and he left because he thought I was mean to him.  I was only teasing!  On his last day he sent me a PM asking me why I hated him.  I don't see how anyone could ever accuse me of hate or even unpleasantness.

This is what he mailed me:

why the hate

And that is the last he was seen.  Wanker.  He made me feel guilty for teasing him.

They don't believe you.  I don't blame them!  You have shify eyes.

And I DIDN'T chase away Avatard!  I didn't know he was so sensitive.  I miss him dreadfully, too.

Need a little more info.

You launch the client, type in your username/password, click the server, hit login, accept the NDA... and then it hangs or does it close the program?

My computer ramps up like it's going to load the client, then nothing.

1. Open DDO Launcher
2. Enter Username/Password
3. Click Login
4. Login goes through 3 steps
5. Select Orien World
6. Click Play
7. Scroll through NDA to end
8. Click I Agree
9. Computer makes a noise like it's going to do something, launcher minimizes to system tray and nothing else happens.

Are you running any kind of AV or other app that might be blocking a process from running, or blocking communication between client and server?

No -- you just like to thrust. ;)

It might just be a simple matter of making an exception for the DDO client process in one of these.

Ah ok. This may sound silly, but try turning off the DDO app in the system tray. That has solved this problem for other users.

Sorry. I meant go into options and turn off the option that makes it appear in the system tray.
