The easiest way to beat Civ I was to build cities so they were touching one another so that entire continents would just be a BladeRunner-like urban sprawl of 1 and 2 population cities with no actual terrain to speak of. Yeah ... I think I was thinking of CivII. I used to use essentially this strategy in CivI. Gabe. |

The AI cheats in all of them I believe (at least the default satisfied citizen stat iirc).
Yeah. I remember making a custom race in MOO2 and picking the "Omniscient" trait. Then I looked at the enemy in the early turns of the game and they had FAR more fleet units than they could support. |
