The internet - the only place a guy would start throwing around whale jokes directly infront of three women.

No real need to turn this all ugly folks, this was just supposed to be about making silly comments about a hawt avatar.

Honestly, I'll admit that I'm not physically attracted to fat girls. Partly, its because I'm built somewhat like Haemish (like a twig). It's probably shallow of me, but I'm better off being honest about it. Note - I said physically attracted, I have plenty of good friends, male and female, that are waistline-challenged.

Yeah, I'm upsetting the women.  Gah, it's not like they have the vote or anything.

As to your comment, Bunk, I don't think anyone is really getting ugly over it.  I hope not anyway.  If anyone is actually hugely orca fat and is offended by my comments, I shall retract them.  Before they get caught in massive folds of flesh.

tsk, tsk, tsk. Honey, if you need a date this is the wrong place! Girls who game, as far as I've been privy, have no troubles getting boyfriends. Unless they a) have asses the size of Ted Turner's ranch, b) don't actually like nerdy guys, or c) can't stand the thought of going afk for a couple of hours a week. But you have children, so you must hafta get off teh computator once in awhile. So the battle is half over.

Please, girl. I recognize a cry for help when I see one.

Ok, this thread has been derailed enough.  Let me clarify some things for you, voodoolily.  :)  I'm not here trying to get a date.  My post to Schild was just playful flirtatiousness because he said he loved my avatar.  For the record, I'm gay.  I do have trouble getting dates though, and not because I'm fat.  I'm a size 4, 5'9".  I'm rather small, actually.  There aren't a lot of hot gay women knocking down my door and I'm a little shallow.  I won't just date anyone.

And there's also the time issue.  I work alot and the rest of my time is spent on games and surfing the internet.  This means I don't get out much, not that there's much to find at the local gay bar here anyways.

Er, I've been shocked out of my French-Maid Reverie :  What's a size 4 ?  (I think this is another cultural difference thing...)

That's my dress/jeans size.  US size.  Basically, I have about a 26inch waist and small hips, the only problem I have with this is that I'm rather tall for my slenderness.  It's hard to find jeans long enough to fit me when they're the right size around my waist.  It's rather tedious to do any kind of shopping in an alotted time frame.  So I mostly stick to skirts.  :(

There is a size difference between UK and US.  A size 4 in the US would be a 6 in the UK, I think.  Or visee versee.

S-Child should be very flattered that he was flirted upon by a trim, savvy, lovely gay woman!  That probably doesn't happen very often, even to him.

I miss Sobelius, too, but he was probably scared off by that dreadful "God hates Gays" thread.  Come back, Sobelius!  We need more gay common sense in this place!

Oh Christ, this has to be bullshit now. Tall, skinny, plays games, and a lesbian? Now you're just trying to tease us all, you've described what every guy here feels they would be if they were a girl.

Nope, absolute gods honest truth.  :)  I have no reason to lie.  I love being a woman, I happen to like women sexually, was graced with good looks after I turned about 18 (was an ugly duckling during my childhood years), and I also happen to love games and stuff.  It's not so farfetched really.  There's no way for me to prove it to you, but that's ok.  I know the truth and that's all that matters.

I actually broke up with my previous girlfriend of a year, because we had absolutely NOTHING in common.  She was  a crazy bitch and was literally up my @$$ all the time.  I couldn't go anywhere without her, play games when she was around (because she didn't like them and was bored), or even read a book in bed by myself (she thought something was wrong if i wasn't doing exactly what she was doing and fawning over her).  Sheesh, women.  Anyway, to make a long story short, she could have vouched for me, but she doesn't know shit about the internet and I don't ever want to speak to her again, if possible.

Before I realized I was a lesbian, I always thought that PMS was something guys made up, because I never realized that I myself would get it.  You know, hormones were always in the way of my seeing clearly.   ;)   But now, I know how very deeply true it is.

Ha!  Yes, back onto the subject of games....sorry for the derailment of this thread, btw.  Actually isn't this thread about what we love and not our most embarassing game purchase?  oh that's right, it is!  I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love girls.  :)

Ok, anyhoo, as for my most embarassing game purchase....hmm, that's a toughie.  I'd have to say it was the Cosmopolitan Make-over thingy.  Not sure if that actually qualifies as a game, but it was pretty embarassing.  It wasn't for me, but for my little sister.

As for just embarassing, in general, basically everytime I took my ex into any game store with me while I was shopping.  She was totally clueless, asked all sorts of stupid questions of the clerks, while trying to look and sound like she was a super elite gamer who knew what she was talking about, just from throwing in random tidbits she picked up from me.  ugh, it was pathetic.

Wow, it's hard enough for straight guys to find girl gamers to date... I can only imagine how tough it'd be for lesbians seeking the same.   undecided

At least your ex feigned interest instead of outright sneering at the store and everyone in it.  Not that I'm in any way bitter toward my ex for her behavior in that regard.

True, but the feigned interest was only for the duration of the visit to the store, as soon as we were home she turned back into a driveling snot, claiming that I was more interested in my games than her.  Turns out, I was.  Hahaha!

I was going to say something flippant, but then I looked back at the last few threads I've read and realized you're right.  Maybe we need a "Pointless Rambling" subforum to complement "Useless News".  Then again, that'd probably cover a lot more than the livejournal threads.

God, I feel dirty just typing the word livejournal.  You bastard.

Hey, jinxer, I didn't mean any harm. I don't call myself Princess Fuckyouup for nothing.  evil My token French lesbian friends game, if that's any consolation. And as is always my solution, you should move to Portland. We're the dyke capital of the US. We're literally crawling with adorable, bike-messenging, fauxhawk-sporting, tiny-boobed little chix that love poonaynay. I like to call gay girls Libyans, personally, but that doesn't seem to have taken. Frankly, at first glance I thought you were a guy because you said you love girls and usually hot-model-as-avatar is a little on the nose for females here.

No offense taken, Voodoolily.  I'm quite aware of the common misconceptions that occur when dealing with female/male identities on the intarweb.

Unfortunately, I don't see myself ever moving to Portland, I just like it further south.  However, I noticed something funny.  I live on the east coast but spent a few days this past week in the southern cali region - and only saw 2 lesbian couples the whole time i was there!

Egads!  I see more over here where I'm at.  I thought Cali had a much more rainbow-swayed population than anywhere else, maybe not.

Thanks for the welcome, anyways!  :)

It's all good, derails like this are what this place has pretty much become about.

And Sam, a sub forum might be bad, as it would be like having a blog that some people might actually read.

Jinxer, i do have to ask - where did you get that avatar shot from? I'm actually asking from the perspective of my interest in photography.
