I know some of the people here who are into comics have their favorites as far as writers and artists go, so I wanted to make a list (as complete as possible) of what current and upcoming projects the more popular ones here are working on.

Neil Gaiman

- Mirror Mask (movie slated to open this year) and Mirror Mask illustrated film script (May 3, 2005)

- Anansi Boys (Novel, Sept. 1st 2005)

- Unnamed Marvel project (late 2005 or early 2006).

J. Michael Straczynski

- Amazing Spiderman (ongoing)

- Supreme Power (ongoing)

- Strange (mini, almost complete)

- Fantastic Four (ongoing)

- Silver Surfer (5 pt. mini, unknown release)

- Also worth mentioning, Mike Carey and Glen Fabry are adapting Gaiman's novel Neverwhere into a 9 part comic series starting in June.  Gaiman is overseeing the project.

Garth Ennis:

- Punisher (ongoing, including special issues like The Cell)

- 303 (6 issue limited series, first few issues already released)

- Ghost Rider (5 part mini, sometime in 2005).

Alan Moore

- Hypothetical Lizard (currently being released, 4 part mini)

- Promethea Book Four TPB (released on March 2nd)

- The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol. 1 and 2: The Absolute Editions HC (Vol 1. rereleased in April, Vol. 2 released in June)

- Top Ten: The Forty-Niners HC (May 25th)

- V for Vendetta and Watchmen movies in the works

- Also of note, Michael Moorcock is does a 2 pt. Tom Strong story in issues 31 and 32 starting this month and finishing in April.

Joss Whedon

- Astonishing X-men (signed on for 1 more year)

- Serenity (Firefly movie, Sept. 30th)

- Wonder Woman (movie)

(more to be edited in later)

Isn't Whedon only signed on for one more year not two?
