Yeah, but again I have a different experience. I'm on Vent with the Raid Guild and I still have my eye on the chatbox for party chat, general chat and guild.
You could always just tell me that I'm a pan-intelligent multi-tasking God.

Have you been spying on me? Yes, but only because I fear that your avatar is going slit my throat while I sleep. I kinda have be leaning in the opposite dirrection. Why would I join a guild that doesn't have voicechat? Games have become so busy that the only way to socialize *AND* play the game is with voicechat. Otherwise I am just a random guy in the group with a vocabulary of "rdy"and "snipe?" |

Oh and I disagree with the big H. I can't even understand what game you're playing when you say that. The Chat box is totally invaluable.
I'm mystified.
This is what I mean. I'm absolutely horrible at not being able to read the chat box because I'm actively engaged in the stuff my character is doing. In EQ, I was looking at the chat box almost exclusviely, because that was the only way to tell when somethings were possible. Same with DAOC. In WoW and CoH, seeing debuffs, positional stuff, or specials like parry that require my input is all in the middle of the screen, centered on my character. But I've found since I quit EQ/DAoC, I have a lot less ability to multitask in an MMOG anyways. |

Yea, I have people bitching at me to dispell if I leave a debuff on them for more than a second, and health bars where things go really bad if I don't keep them from going empty. I'm watching my party as it's my main responsibility, then im also watching my ctraid panels if in a raid, and I'm watching what's going on so I can fade/whatever when certain events happen. Then I'm also having a conversation in vent. I honestly can't also read the chat a lot of the time when I'm fighting or doing anything remotely engaging. If you can, then you're better at multitasking than me.

This is what i use primarily for Counterstrike and they work quite well. The mic tends to be a little quiet on internal soundcards, but otherwise they are great. |

I second the Sennheiser PC 150's. Great sound, great mic, and the bonus being that I can catass till the cows come and still not have any issues with these being on my ears. They didn't seem like they would be at first, but they are really comfortable. |

If you want the most articulate and detailed audiophile cans for your dosh, get a pair of Grado SR60s or SR80s and use a gooseneck mic with them. There's nothing that comes close that has an attached mic.

Chuck Norris/10 I don't know what that means, but it gave me a chuckle.There is a fad going on on the WoW boards (it's not been going long enough to call it any more than a fad), to rate posts (mainly trolls), i.e. 1/10 for a bad troll, or 10/10 for a really really good troll that gets a lot of people. The better trolls do stuff like spell out t r o l l with the first letter of every sentence, or are posted with a lvl 1 troll character and no one realises it a troll for at least the first few pages. There is also a fad, often perpetuated by the devs, to say that Chuck Norris is the most uberest ever (probably mostly because Chuck Norris is so lame, thus the irony of saying that someone so obviously lame is "cool"). So this guy gave the post a Chuck Norris out of 10 possible points, i.e. it's the "best" rating you can get.. Fairly clever actually. It will get old fast though, because now EVERY post is going to have some retard rating it Chuck Norris/10. |

Then along came Walker, Texas Pussy and nothing has ever been the same.
Yeah, that's what I mean behind the irony of choosing Chuck Norris to be above all. It's one part a reminder of when we were 8, one part a reminder of how lame Chuck Norris has become, and one part a subtle dig at the person you are comparing to Chuck Norris. Overall a pretty good pick. I probably like it better than Vin Diesel because I can recall a time where Chuck was uber alles. Never did Vin Diesel reach such heights with me (though had I been younger, I'm sure the thought would be reversed). |

I just enjoy studying the deep philisophical ramifications of Chuck Norris. Actually, I tend to stumble across this crap while I'm searching for ways to min/max my character.. It's always easier when someone does the math for you, you just have to read way to many pages about Chuck Norris to find it.. |

Vin Diesel's WoW character could probably kill yours. He bought all his stuff from IGE and had his characters powerleveled by Yantis. His character's names are Alpha and Omega. If you see them, you've done something you probably shouldn't have.
