Wow, thats great.  Blizzard's free talent re-specs have opened them up to accusations of failing to refund players for nerfing an item.  We've said this before, but one really has to wonder about the implications of actually shutting a game down (a la AC2, if AC2 had players) in this legal atmosphere would be.

I'm also amused by the concept that players become content for each other, and that therefore subscribers are in some symbiotic business relationship that transcends client->vendor.  In that respect, simple online interaction becomes a revenue stream that implies an unpaid debt to the player.

It boggles me how someone pays an upfront box cost and agrees to pay a monthly fee to play a video game - and then turns around and tries to argue that to actually play the game represents some legitimate investment of valuable time, for which the player must be compensated.  No where in any EULA is the explicit or implied understanding that a player will be reimbursed for his or her time in any way.

To help update this list with the most modern and moddest of farmers for next weeks harvest here is how to spot them...

-Usually Rogues

-Usually seem to be "mindless" and "stupid" such as if you were in a quest area with alot of mobs and figured hey lets invite that rogue, the rogue declines and continues just randomly running around killing mobs like a machine

-Does not respond to tells, or if responds says only extremely basic english words with no clear sentence structure or ability to comprehend what you are saying. May simply say "I DONT KNOW!" if you ask something.

-Speaks chinese (the give away)

-Says something to you that looks like.. That is actual chinese with english-characters I recieved in a tell after harassing a suspected gold farmer.
"Ni bu dong ying yu bu yao zai zhe luan jiang ~!!"

Ways to be sure you've found gold farmers...

Send them tells saying things like "You = china??? I = taiwan ~!!" and act like a retard when speaking english cause chances are they will think you are asian and will send soemthing like "ni shi yu shi you bing a ~!!?".. If they say something like that, chances are, you have an asian gold farmer. Simply post their name here, or repeatedly fear their mobs and follow them around to piss them off.

I have seen someone hunting in the same area as one of these gold farmers and the farmer whispered him in another language (I wont say which language, but you already know). My friend ignored him. Not long after, 3 lvl 60 Horde showed up (The farmer and my friend were Alliance) and killed my friends character. Then all 4, yes, the Alliance farmer too, /laugh, /rude, /spit, etc. at him. Then they camped him until he just rezzed at the graveyard. I showed up stealthed and watched them gank him twice before he rezzed.
