Really only making this topic out of habit. Between the leaks, the early announcements, the talk of stopgap slightly upgraded consoles, and the fact that I just haven't been putting a lot of time into games this year, I'm just personally not all that excited about E3 this year. I mean I usually expect a lot of disappointment out of E3 anyway, but I'm not typically this apathetic to it (I'll still be watching it though except for Bethesda because I'll be working).

That said, this years conference schedule (all in Pacific Time):

Sunday June 12th:

EA - 1pm

Bethesda - 7pm

Monday June 13th:

MS - 9:30am

PC Games - 11:30am

Ubisoft - 1pm

Sony - 5:30pm

Tuesday June 14th

Nintendo - 9am

Interesting that E3 is only two days this year...  why so serious?

Why do they still have this giant waste of time and money? Also, until they upgrade the games available on the new consoles, it won't matter what they do the hardware because there isn't shit out on the consoles I can think of that makes me give a fuck to buy one. Persona 5 will change that but that's not until next year.

They still claim that Last Guardian is going to be finished/released? Wasn't that supposed to be a PS3 exclusive?

I'm mostly excited to know how much better ubisoft graphics settings will be at e3 compared to when watch dogs 2 goes live. I'm also excited about gameplay trailers that don't show actual gameplay.

Going less cynical, I would like to see more of For Honor, horizon zero dawn, see things for tyranny, hear about what visceral games is doing with that star wars game, would want to hear about another wolfenstein and also hear about totally new stuff.

The internet has really been harping on the fact trailer graphics never make it into the final game.

Why do people give a fuck about this anymore? Aren't we past that? Graphics don't make the game. They really don't. Otherwise we'd all still be playing Division.

You mean The Division that was shown at E3? Because that game didn't make it into the final version. That's what people are pissed about. Look up the youtube video comparing the E3 version and the released version. It's way deeper than just graphics.

Yup. The game itself may be merely passable, but don't shit on the graphics and environment. They kill.

As for E3, I should be there Monday, barring unforeseen stupidity.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

EA starting up shortly. As always I'd be happy for a new Fight Night or Skate. Aside from that just looking forward to Mass Effect. Please don't bring out awkward guests like Pelé this year.

I have nothing to do this afternoon, so I'm watching a press conference about games I'll never play because of bad platforms.

The narrator for this mass effect trailer really shows how little the devs care about the series anymore. Why not just get NDT and be done with it. Damn.
