So they don't actually have any Star Wars stuff to show, just a bunch of people talking about what great games they're making.

Last game up, Battlefield 1. So in this entire press conference they showed Titanfall 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda (very briefly), Madden, FIFA, Fe, and Battlefield 1.

Fuck BF1 looks boring.

Did they spend a buttload of time talking about the boring, overly-scripted "cinematic" single-player campaign that no one will play unless there are actually weapon unlocks in it?

No, they did that for FIFA.

I know for a fact that everyone who plays the FIFA games, their biggest complaint is the lack of a single player story about a poor put upon Manager. Grand Theft Football must be a thing.

That truly does not make any sense. Oh right, EA.

Forgot this was happening tonight. Yea, literally Hearthstone. From a company NOT known for polish. Meh.

I never got why sports franchise games need a single player campaign. Integration of aspects of Manager sims, yes. Story mode? Why the hell would you want a poorly scripted rags to riches story?

I'm in beta, and I actually like the gameplay more  than Hearthstone (but sure, it will definitely come out less polished than Blizzard's game, with a much smaller playerbase).

"Quake with classes [Quake Champions]" is the first of many many many Overwatch clones we are gonna have to swallow for the next five years. Which is ironic because Overwatch isn't one bit original. It's 2004 all over again.

Could you guys please at least name the things that you're talking about? I get almost all of my E3 coverage here on F13 and having to google "bethesda hearthstone clone" for every example is kind of a PITA.

That time device at the end of the Dishonored 2 stuff looks pretty sweet.  That might be worth $7 on Steam eventually.

MS leading off with name dropping their new console and also making a big push for Xbox/PC cross platform play. Buying Gears of War 4 on one platform also gets you access to the game on the other platform (sounds like they have this planned for more games in the future).

Gears of War 4 still looks pretty dull though so far.

There's nothing Microsoft can do to make people happy other than to say all their games will be on Steam and have nothing to do with the Windows 10 store. They're just boned in that regard.
