You mean personally ?  Sure, I have time, a garage and some lengths of chain.  All I need is four horses and I'm set.

There are reports going around that her label has actually dropped her.

I am not going to burden you all with what I thought this post originally said...let's just say I misread 'label' and did a double take. This IS Britney we are talking about, after all.

Britney is apparently now bald (her head that is).

Haven't been able to find a pic yet.

How long before she joins a cult and waits for the "mothership" to take them all away?

Now you can see all the dents in her head from when she was dropped down stairs as a toddler.

That's the head of the Kurgan.

[EDIT]

I usually don't care about this kind of thing, but I kind of hope Britney is alright. We don't need another celebrity chick flipping out just yet.

What's even sillier than the fact that this is news is the fact that CNN.com has a pretty long video interview with the owner of the hair salon.

I don't know how people live like she does.  Having nearly every thing you do, say, every mistake you make, being caught on film.  People climbing trees, hanging out of cars and helicopters, just to try and catch a glimpse of your boob or stuffing your face with chocolate cake.  I know they ask for it by the nature of what they choose to do for a living, but still... it must get really old and frustrating after a while.  Of course, I'm the sort who mostly hides from people.

I know I'd end up flipping out if I was famous. I don't hide from people or anything. I can (admittedly) be an attention whore at times....But I'd rather control the situation. Once it's on the fame scale though, it seems like very little is in your control.

When you have 24 hours plus websites, etc to fill, any news is good news.

I can't watch the news on TV any more.  A couple weeks back one night when a new episode of Heroes was going to be on I made the mistake of turning my television on a couple hours early as background noise while I waited.  So the news is on when I turn on the TV and they start reporting on the commercials from the Superbowl half-time show.  Around the time the start interviewing people and they having these brain-dead rejects describing their favorite commercials that they saw that night, I was forced to change the channel in disgust.  So the next channel I come to is also the news, and they're about to go to commercial break but are kind enough to inform the audience that when they come back their going to discuss the winners and the losers of the Superbowl ads.  Flipping the channel a couple more time I come to another news station with the same results (commercial break coming up, Superbowl ads when they come back).  Finally I get to the station that Heroes will be on later, but in the meantime, of course they have the news.  And of course they're doing a story on the Superbowl ads.  Needless to say the TV was shut off and did not come back on until Heroes was about to start.

Apparently "commando".

My first thought was Boy George sans makeup, but good call on Kurgan.  The problem with shaving your head is that it's a surprise the first time you do it.

I used to shave the sides during my gothy days and I loved how it felt after.  I also loved the feel when it was growing back.  I couldn't stop touching my head which was sort of embarrassing so I stopped shaving it.

That is the most I have shaved mine, too.  I'm not into bald though, and I've seen less than a handful of women I thought it looked good on.  Or off.  Whatever.

I had a friend who was half African and half Indian who looked incredible with a shaved head.  She had lots of piercings, nose, lip, dozens of earrings.  The tv shots of Britney Spears weren't too bad, but the stills above didn't do her any favours.  I don't know why her head looks all lumpy in the photos, they didn't on the news video.  I agree though.  Unless you have a really nice shaped head, bald isn't very attractive.

The only bald girls that go with my theme are decidedly NSFW and would get me bansticked.   While I'm sure that'd thrill some of you I'm simply not in the mood.
