So I've watched this. I didn't find it laugh-out-loud hilarious, but I did enjoy it. With that much star talent it would be pretty hard to fuck up, and most of the cast seem to enjoy playing whatever quirky bit role they have. Also, it's impossible to watch this and not hear H John Benjamin as Archer, which gives the whole thing a slightly vibe

I have tried to watch this and I guess I just don't get it or it's just not for me.
Didn't laugh once. Didn't even find it amusing. I usually love absurd humour but for some reason neither this or the movie worked for me.

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

Same. It seems like there are only really two jokes: 1. Old actors playing young people 2. People telling awful, unfunny jokes then other people laughing like it's funny It feels very lazy to me. I like absurd and awkward humor but this just didn't work for me at all. The last thing David Wain did was "They Came Together" and it had a very similar vibe. Also very one-note and the humor was the same sort of "this isn't funny - isn't that funny?" thing.

Folks should know what they're getting into with David Wain and friends by now. Margalis also misses the third type of joke, "Can you believe we got X celebrity to be in this?"
K9 nailed it, it's not hilarious but it's entertaining enough and it feels like this was made because the cast had fun hanging out on set.

I like Children's Hospital though, and that is also by David Wain, has Ken Marino in it, etc. CH is definitely more absurd though.

Yep. Watched the first episode. No chuckles. Not for me I guess.

I enjoyed this. Wasn't great but, ya know...it had it's moments.

I watched about 10 minutes of the first episode before losing interest. I'd never heard of the original or David Wain; upon googling the only thing of his I've seen is Role Models which was pretty good.
