Are most returning teams pretty well leveled by now?
I am interested, but don't want to end up as the default scrub team. Granted, that may be the case anyway.

It's hard to say before the TV requirements are established. I, for one, don't think I'll be playing my more veteran teams this season, but I haven't completely made up my mind.

Most seasons there is a mix - people start new teams every season - and new players join each season. Also if you are really worried about it, you can join the feeder league with a team and play a couple of pre-season looseners against anyone who posts here. Join the f13 bloodbowlers steam group and pm anyone you recognize for matches. |

Even if we do start fresh this season it's still a good idea to knock the rust off. I'm up for games pretty much any evening I'm online and I have a ton of teams in the feeder league to practice with.

Been playing an undead team in SP for the most part.
Made one of those and an orc team for league play. Undead Jello Biafra and Orc Alva will be likely die early.

I've only done online league play with people from my old honors dorm, so I am a worthless noob in that regard. I guess I need to find the "who is who" thread and start adding people on steam.

Key piece of advice to new players is just make sure you absolutely understand the rules on blocking and dodging. Rest is just logic based on these two sections of the rulebook.

I have never played blood bowl, but BB:LE has appeared in my steam library at one point. Bundle? Gift? :mystery: Anyway, I heard you can play d0rfs in this game... and one of the 'players' is a literal tank. Thus, I hereby submit my yet-unnamed dwarf team to the tender mercies of the f13 league. This will end well.  edit: okay, after looking at d0rf movement ranges, maybe I'll go with Norse instead. They're kinda like tall d0rfs anyway! |

One BIG thing to get used to before the season starts is the 2-minute turns (atleast the past seasons have had those). If you aren't familiar with those you might want to try a few games against the computer with them in place to get the feel... |

Somewhat tempted by the new teams rule. But alas, I'll be shipping out of Poland within weeks, and my PC will go into a crate that will show up sometime after I get to my next post, months from now. So, probably a bad time t start anything long term.
