"What We Do In The Shadows" is a mockumentary about 4 vampire housemates living in New Zealand. It plays with a lot of vampire tropes / references and grew on me as the film went on.

It's a horror-comedy, but with the focus being on the comedy, co-written by Jemaine Clement of Flight of the Concords.

I went in with no expectations and enjoyed the experience. Personally it fell more on the side of 'clever' than 'laugh out loud hilarious' but it certainly has potential to be a cult favourite.
