Hey guys. Sorry to say I may have to bow out. I'm moving my game computer on Sunday and my ISP told me it may take 3 seeks to have internet in my new place as the phones have never been connected. I MIGHT be ale tt wifi from the shop that's part of the new place till then, but we all know how finicky this game is with network settings. Sorry and all but there's zip I can do about it. ThT day is the only time my brother is available with his truck to move the big items.

Snuffleorc's Skaven of the Scum Sewer Surfers lined up to receive against Drogg's Khorne Muscle Daddies.
It was the first time these skaven had faced the might of Khorne, but they were in for a surprise.

In the first 4 turns it looked like the Khorne had turned up in their fashionable paper armour instead of their usual as they fell over constantly and ended up with 4 off the pitch either injured or KO'd.

The Surfers quickly monopolise on this and, after taking a small hammering themselves in return, managed to score with a short pass, only to lose their Star Player (Morg) in the process.

The Second half looked grim for the surfers without Morg, but the zone coverage they played kept Khorne's lethal fists mostly at bay. Then a surprise .. the Surfers had sneaked a Wizard into the crowd who zapped the Daddies ball carrier, slowing down their attack even more. With the Daddies forced into more open play to gain the yards, the Surfers managed to pin down and take down the Daddies new ball carrier, only for a new Khorne-ite to grab the ball and hand it off as another made a desperate, stretching dash for the end zone, only to stretch himself too far, leaving the Surfers 1-0 up.

A terrible game for the Daddies with Nuffle largely against them, but a first ever win for the Surfers, who for once didn't have to go home with their tails between their legs.

Scum Sewer Surfers 1 - Muscle Daddies 0

as a postscript, that was maybe the worst first half i've ever had playing cyanide bowl.  monty's rats took out four AV 8 and 9 characters within the first six blocks and i failed all but two wild animal rolls, all of which were blitzes or blocks.  total buffoonery.

Congrats Monty.

Also, keeps the last qualifying spot open in group 1.

I'll have to post the game tomorrow because I won't have access to the file until then, but it will be done.

Whenever an opponent discards a card, Megrim deals 2 damage to that player.
