Ronnie Corbett. He was part of a comedy duo called "The Two Ronnies" which I found hilarious when I was a kid. Here's one:

Zaha Hadid, famous female Architect and the first female to win the Pritzker prize for architecture on her own merit died of a sudden heart attack last night at 65.

Hated her work but respected the woman for being able to advance herself in what has always been an old white man's game.

Merle Haggard died today. One of my favorites in country music. He was a real shit-head, but he could write a song.

Ah shit. My dad liked him when I was growing up and I didn't think twice about him until grad school. He was at a show in Lafayette, LA and a few of my buddies made the trek to see him. I left with a new appreciation for him.

The only song I actually know for sure was his was that "Okie from Muskogie" (sp?) and that was just weird.  I'm not a big fan of country/western music but I've worked at some events and everyone was always drunk and super happy.  RIP, Okie from Muskogie.

My dad was a huge fan, too.  His favourite country stars ever are Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard.  I actually don't mind listening to most of their stuff (esp. Cash) even though I'm not a country fan at all.  It's way better than any of the "new country" hot garbage.  Kind of the same way I feel about rap.  I can listen to and enjoy some of the older rap artists like NWA and Tupac but this new rap/hip hop is 99% Gunk.

According to the AP Prince's publiscist has confirmed he died. He had a very bad flu. 57 years old.

Chyna dead at 46. Weird, as a few weeks ago a group of us introduced some very stunned 20-somethings to her sex tape. Much emotional scarring ensued.

OH I see it now, yes. Easy to miss when you know what you typed.

In her proto-penis. Within it.  Demons bursting forth killed her. Because they lived in it, as it was frightening.

No probs.

In a continuation of a theme, 2016 has decided to also claim Patton Oswald's wife; Crime Writer Michelle McNamara.

I like Patton as well.  He and she seem as regular as entertainers can be.  That's very sad.  They have one young kid and I believe were a normal couple.
