Guy falls in love with the AI personality of his operating system, which loves him back.

Trailer

Kinda interesting take given that Kurzweil has been saying for years now that he thinks AI will be able to understand and emulate emotion by 2029(-ish).

They should have used some complete unknown for the computer voice. Having it as ScarJo is cheating.

This is just the first step in the liberal agenda to undermine traditional marriage of two humans and allow unnatural robot-human unions.  Think of the children!

Yes, but robot dongs are so enticing.  You can make them whatever size you want.  That's the reason the bible is against it.

I don't get the Scarlett casting call. Her voice isn't that great without seeing her. What a waste of that body.

I think the casting is fine.  When I hear her voice I think of Scarlett.  I think that's the point of it.  Would you rather it be Rosie O'Donnel?

I think that is the issue. It should have been some unknown female. You hear the voice and you automatically get an image. Hear a voice you never heard and you can go all over with it.

This looks like the best movie about an introvert falling in love with an inanimate object since Lars and the Real Girl.

If they had GLaDOS doing the voice I'd watch it. Don't like Phoenix at all though, so I'll pass.

That's not what he said at all. He said best since.

Also, watched the trailer again with the fiance. Still stupid.

Hahahahahaha. You just jinxed yourself even mentioning a desire to not see it. I laugh at your future pain, sir. Just be glad it is your girlfriend and not your wife, otherwise there would be no doubt regarding your future suffering.

That made me cringe. They should have cast GLaDOS intead. That would be something worth watching.
