Many have entered the halls of the Failoffs but only four coaches have failed to suck enough to make it this far. Two matches to play before we can answer the question of who sucks least in the final Failoff THunderdome.

Here are the matches and the story of shattered glory so far.

The deadline for these matches is June 9th but I would be much obliged if you could get them done as soon as you possibly can.

Just chatted with Proudft over steam.  We should be on either late late tonight PST, or Monday evening should that fall through.

The Raider's block dice were lackluster... but good armor and injury rolls more than made up for it!  *Sharpens Claws*

There was a bit in the middle where I mishandled the Volcanoes' kickoff blitz which could have easily turned things around, but a spot of luck got me through my screwup and after that it was 11 players to 8.

I was also fortunate that Dis didn't make more of a showing; damn but that guy is dangerous!  He made me use my apothecary on his opening blitz, but that was about it.  Whew.  I'd intended to foul the bajeezus out of him, but never quite found the opportunity.

Any word on when you guys might play the remaining semifinal?

I was hoping to schedule the final soon thereafter so we can wrap up about when the playoffs do, and move on to next season...

Nurgle move on with a 1-0 victory.  I should've scored at the end of the first as well, but greed gave me double skulls instead.  Nothing too exciting in this match, armor held up pretty well on both sides.

Ingmar will need to validate and move the day on as I currently live in a Spanish hotel and don't have a PC that can run BB handy here.

Congratulations to Jasper and Avaia on making the failfinals.

I can get the match in tonight, Wednesday, or Thursday pretty much anytime with warning, but after that Friday through Monday is booked and I'll have to wait until next Tuesday.

Will any of those times work for you, Avaia?  I believe I'm two hours behind you at GMT -8 (PST).

Avaia's response may be delayed due to issues. I will try to find out when he'll be available again.

I *think* I will be released on Thursday by the apothecaries.  I will ping you if this holds true.

Apothecary?!  And here I thought Nurgle could only get an Igor...

Next week would work just as well for me if you need some time to recover, no rush.

And actually it turns out that Thursday is bad for me, unless it's early in the morning.  So lets just aim for Tuesday next week?

Looks like we missed each other.  Probably easiest to pick a time?

Wednesday will be kind of rough, but I can find time either during the day, or late-ish at night.  What will work for you, Avaia?

Good to hear from you!  I was worried, what with the apothecaries and all.

Tonight is tight as I'm leaving town, but doable.  How about 6pm PST, which is I believe is 8pm over where you're at?

I'm game most anytime in the afternoon or evening tomorrow, just let me know what works for you.  Tuesday and Wednesday work too, though I'll be busy until about 8pm or so PST taxing my son around to soccer.

Could also do tonight, though it's perhaps a but short notice!  Ring me on Steam if you're free.

Excellent, I'm usually hauling around kids as well most of my evening, so your 8pm is just about right for me.  I will look for you tonight; if that fails, we will get it in tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well, this finally got played.  I took the opening kickoff and scored on the last turn of the half.  Rat armor didn't hold up so well today, and the rat ogre got a little frisky and had some bad timing on wild animal.  The second half got pretty ugly as the rats couldn't field 11 and it only got worse.

This means that two teams from our division made it through the season undefeated; unfortunately I have the failoff trophy and Eld has the league one.   swamp poop

Glad it got wrapped up, congrats Avaia and well played. Thanks to all who took part. There'll be a brief interlude for gimmick leagues and the hD&M Challenge then we'll look towards Season 8 in a couple of months.

What's the rule on TV cap for the new league?
Can I actually play some non league games with my S7 team? Or am I just supposed to leave it alone till season starts?

It'll be the same (provisionally) as the last one. If your team's last game was in a previous f13 league season then it will be automatically eligible for Season 8. Otherwise if it's been playing in other leagues (including the feeder league) then it has to conform to the normal TV limit (currently 1400 but maybe subject to discussion).

And to clarify that means if you take your league team back to the feeder league and play games with it, it will have to hit the 1400 when it comes back. If you put it on ice it can come back as-is, even if it skips several seasons, so in theory I could bring my 2300 dwarves back or proudft could bring back his 4 surviving Khemri linemen.
